Well, this was interesting and finally a mention of Edward.  Creepy as usual, but I'm impressed he wanted to be whipped and 'practiced what he preaches'.  Great chapter....curious to see the b/e interaction.

I'm not going to lie to you.  I have started and stopped this story numerous times.  The plot is dark, unique and the writing is excellent.  I just literally found the content upsetting, I'm shaking like a leaf right now.  My friend is addicted (sc2009) to it and called me a 'pansy'.

In the beginning of the story with James and Charlie...I had to stop and start numerous times.  But, seeing as you review ours (exp enc) all the time, I knew I had to sit and read it.  Please don't take this as an insult.  It's a compliment to your fantastic writing ability...you write too well and it's so realistic that it scares the freaking bejesus out of me.  I wanted to stick with it because I can't get scary movies out of my head until I see the HEA.  I kept restarting it because I had to see Bella get her HEA. 

Now, that Carlisle is gone, I can finish the story.  When I think about it, I probably did read most of it.  I hope she gets her HEA like you promised, haha.  I don't know if I have an opinion on whether or not that involves Edward.  I agree with another reviewer that he should let her go and if it's meant to be, she'll come back.  But, I can't even fathom what she feels and what almost happened.  Edward is a good guy in this story, but for too long, he wasn't.  So, I'm going to leave it up to you to make the decision as to what you think is best for Bella...like I have a choice, haha.  I think she probably will end up with him, but if this story has been anything, its been unpredictable. 

Again, PLEASE don't take this as a bashing.  I was just being honest that at times this was hard to read.  But like I said if the writing wasn't emotionally charged and or didn't have extremely believable plots and motives, I wouldn't have become addicted to it anyway and returned to it when the lights were on.

FANTASTIC STORY (esp when the bad guys got their due), can't wait to see where it goes from here. 

I was wondering since no one is sure what Esme did with the ashes?....could I borrow them to put them in someone's cereal bowl in my story? haha

That was awesome!!!  I was so depressed that it was 'two years' but it was necessary.  You wrapped everyone/everything up really well and the ending was epic. Aww,  yay, hea's at last.  God, even in death, Carlisle is creepy.

I'm rereading here and there.  I told you before I skipped around my first time, for sanity's sake...no offense, you just write too realistically.  I missed all the stuff before about how Edward saw the light.  I freaking love your Jasper, Emmett's okay, but Jasper rocks

I feel like I owe you an apology.  I am reading this for a second/third time today because I knew it was incredibly well-written and a great story.  I let the charlie/james freakishness of it scare me away.  I apologize for that.  I wanted to approach it again and give it the reviews it/you deserve.  I know it's a great story, plus you read and review all of ours, 'ee'.

This is my favorite chapter so far.  I have skimmed it beginning to end, again, sorry.  And besides the obvious choices, this is my favorite chapter.  I wondered what exactly it was that finally made him pull his head out, and exactly how much he did know of charlie and james' excapades.  This was a very well-written, important detailed chapter full of great tidbits that I missed the first time...from mushy date to important James info.  Great job.

Wow for how absolutely awful he was to his mother.  Wow for the words they exchanged.

Wow, I just lost Bella to cancer in my story (on FF)....you hit the sentiments so much better.  I'd love to see their life before she passed.  I hit on Alice knowing how he felt because she was her best friend...weird.  Great job...heartbreaking.

Just wanted to say, I'm sorry 'you have personal experience' with this, I hope you're well.  My mom suffered two strokes, she didn't survive the second.  So, it's a major understatement to say that you pulled at my heartstrings.  This is so sad, especially at her age.  I know, I keep telling my watery eyes that it's just a story.

Oh shit.  Do you feel bad for her cuz her 'one night stand's' at the door?  Or are you jealous as hell cuz her 'one night stand's' at the door AND it's Edward freakin' Cullen.

I absolutely freaking love Charlie in this story, Emmett too.  I know it's fiction, but it makes me sick when a parent throws their kid away and signs over their rights.  I love the way Charlie wanted and welcomed her.  God, Renee is such a bitch...I'm sure that part of the story will get worse when we learn about Bella's childhood.  I hope this is the end of Renee, but I doubt it.

I love the chemistry of your characters, they're all so sweet. So Edward and Alice are brother and sister.  Jasper is Garrett's brother.  Who is Emmett's mother?

Ha, Edward and 'his' carpet cleaner were hysterical.

I love the way they treat Bella...well MOST of them.  She never had a window?  What happened to this poor girl?  I hope the closeness of Edward isn't setting her up for more heartbreak.  Please make her less shy before school, or they will eat her alive....has she ever been to school?  This is so sad.  I'm glad you started the story with us knowing she has some happiness with charlie before we hear everything....so we know she has a light at the end of her tunnel.

Holy crap, renee is horrible. What the heck is going on with Rose?  I knew Lauren was bad news, and it's not over.  They can't watch her all the time, in school.  God, who do I hate more?....Renee or Lauren.

So, I was all impressed with myself this morning because I was actually going to be on time for work.  I managed to tear myself away from my computer on time BUT, then I read your summary.  I wanted to be your first review, but I couldn't be THAT late.  So, I come home intending to review it, and I find out I'll still be the first.  Man, people just suck.  You had 108 reads and not one of those lazy people could review.  Ugh, typical !!!  That's all it is-their laziness, don't take it personally.

Well, I loved it.  I love this premise, can't read enough of it.  Actually have written two of it myself.  I thought you did a great job.  The summary with 'her reaction' is what pulled me in.  Then, when I read 'her reaction', I was like 'holy crap, Bella, what the heck'?  I thought you wrote it extremely well...you could actually see them standing their spinning their locker dials, ha.  But after she rejected him, the raw emotion that you showed from both of them ...excellent.   I think you did a fantastic job with it.  I'd love to see you expand it.  But, I'm learning now how challenging it is to pull a whole story from a one-shot.  I'd love to see you try, but whatever works best for you.  Great job, going to go see if you have others now.

I don't want to offend you guys....I know it's fiction but I didn't like Edward in this chapter.  Honestly, verbal abuse isn't any better than physical...sometimes, it's worse.  So, I did love it when Mike and Aro made his skin crawl.   And'parmesan crusted chicken' is the best thing at tgi's.   Okay, Angela gave her share later, but still.
