I started writing a one shot story that has Edward doing something similar. The medical situation is not the same at all and the patient is not Bella. I just thought that I should maybe mention it just in case. 

Carlisle has a big house. Sure it's full of vampires but that can't be helped. Lol Plus who should make a better nurse and caring, loving caretaker then Esme. Then there is Edward who will he able to help her like no one else. 

As a parent I know I would do absolutely anything for my child. I don't see Charlie being any different.

Wow that was fast. But they have known each other for years. So truthfully it probably won't be that big a deal.

I'm glad they found it early. I'm glad you didn't wait. My grandmother had felt the lump for a long time and never said anything. By the time she did it was stage IV and in her lymph notes.

Oh that is amazing. I am so happy that it was only stage I-II. God and you hit the nail on the head with do it's and not telling you things. I had cryosurgery on my cervix a few years ago and they never told me to take anything before hand and I wanted to die, I honestly think it was more painful then labor and I was alone because they made it sound like it was no big deal. I couldn't even leave the office I sat in my car for a hour until someone could come get me. 

That must have been amazing.

My Nana didn't tell anyone about her lumps because she didn't want to be mutilated. Her words, not mine. Her aunt had both breast removed in the 60's and I guess back then it was horrible. Her husband also had died from prostate cancer in the 80's and she watched the chemo and cancer take everything from him. She swore she would never go though that. If only she knew about the advances in medicine maybe we wouldn't of lost her. She wasn't going to fight it at all and they had given her 3 months to live. But luckily for us I found out I was pregnant around the same time, so she fought and lived 18 months. She got to meet her great granddaughter.

God I love people on Morphine. And I'm glad they have such a strong support system. 

We live in Pennsylvania and pot wasn't legal when my Nana was sick. My cousin the pothead would hear of it. He got her the "good stuff" and made her really small cigaretts. It helped her a lot.
