Yes it probably would have been better for her to wait for Edward but I felt that the fear of the unknown, the possibility of loosing it to some old bald guy with a beer gut, was a better motivation to loose it to a friend. After all there were no guareentees at the time that Bella would meet someone as good looking as Edward lol. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
