So Lauren (or Bella) stabbed Cheney cause she saw/heard something Cheney did/said to Bella (Lauren), and snapped. Cheney in self defense grabbed a gun (Bella's concealed one?) and let off a shot. Putting us in a place where Cheney and his rage tendencies appear again causing harm to other females.
Honestly for HEA, you're really putting us through the wringer.

Also so sad it's Jessica being the bitch, I always liked her character.

I would love to see Bella be accepted by her Coven at large and see her meet more witches. I feel like there's the possibility for Edward to see how the Coven treats Bella and draw comparisons within the pack, but more importantly see first hand the strength within Bella. What exactly she's capable of. It seemed hinted at, so I'll throw this out as well -- Bella using her powers in wolf form. Rosalie will probably challenge Bella, so seeing Bella whip her butt would be great too. Not much else I'd look forward to or specifically that the hints and foreshadowing hasn't lent to me believe that I'll get to see it.
This was great and I'm looking forward to book 2. I'm torn, I'm happy that I'll be here at the beginning, but I also prefer reading with a buffer. Though, as long as it updates consistently I'm happy.
Cheers to your inspiration hitting you like a truck and to the completion of a wonderful story. 20/10 would buy the series and fall in love with new characters and your style of world building if ever published.

Thank you! That's what I like writing about this story, the chance to make these characters grow. And I really wanted to see how Bella would react if Edward's overprotectiveness went a little too far. What's interesting is that it's entirely possible Jasper did suppress any curiosity Bella felt towards him in canon, I just made her catch him in the act.
Edward has the gift of traveling to adjust the past to ensure the future of humanity. Passed on from generation to generation, he makes small changes to ensure humanity's survival. In order for him to pass on his gift, he must find the one who will carry his child so that he may retire one day. Bella is the last person he would have chosen but she is destined to be the one. How hard will he have to work to make what he has seen in the future a reality? AH HEA

Alice being a brat isn't my favorite trope in Twilight fanfiction, but it's still better than Edward being one. Hopefully he doesn't turn into an obsessive bloodthirsty stalker. ...I'm hoping there were no witnesses for Bella's sake. I don't think she could handle the embarrassment, but honestly that's kinda hot if they claimed each other in front of the pack too.
Also, I truly need Bella to embrace her wolf, as well as give her wolf more leniency. To spend time getting to know and trusting her wolf because when they get together and are on the same page... when they acknowledge and trust each other, feel the same way... it's amazing! I love Wolfella. And honestly once Wolfella is more consistent I'm almost positive she could control her magic 1000% better and do it in both forms.

Bella should just trust her wolf like she trusts in her magic. She won't gtow otherwise, and I hope this realization comes soon because she needs to grow into her wolf and they need to sync up quickly so she's not vulnerable and can properly lead the pack. I get that it comes from a place of insecurity due to the unknown, but this is the most safe she's ever going to be in order to find that connection and herself within these two sides of her. She can't fully become herself and into her strength and power if she's still putting up walls or reigns on one aspect of who she's meant to be.

I like the concept, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the story. Jasper doesn't speak much like a doctor does however, so it threw me for a loop! Hahaha.
Btw, given that Edward wouldn't hold any power over Bella (he could always be switched out, he's not able to prescribe her meds or control the dosage, her regimens would be decided by both the neurologist and head physical therapistbased on highly tracked progress) the ethics of the story is safe. Of course I haven't read the story, but since it's Alice's practice, she'd be the head of it.

Solid chapter, loved that we saw into Edward's head and that he handled the situation of professional v personal appropriately and well. As it goes doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals that we see with frequency will always become close to us as we trust them more and open up; especially if they're helping us regain something we've lost. I can just imagine Charlie says he purposefully got Maria hooked on drugs hoping she'd lose the baby or something since he never wanted children as well as abusing her too. And then who would be there for Jasper?

I can picture it now, Jasper walks into Renny's on opening night, sees Bella and assumes Edward did it and punches him, Alice and Bella both lose their shit because not only does he look like Charlie but he's also out of the blue agressive like him as well. This sets Bella back, and widens the chasm between him and Alice. Opening night is in shambles, and everything makes the news the following day. Well, that's if this were a telenovela/soap opera anyways.
I honestly hope everyone gets it together and tells Jasper what's going on, he must feel so isolated and confused. All of his family and friends are ignoring and putting distance between him and them. If they aren't careful he'll grow to resent Bella instead of wanting a relationship with her.
Bella and Edward don't speak to each other after the van incident, yet their paths still converge. When Bella is attacked by James' coven in her own home, she is rescued by the Cullen family in the nick of time. Now, Bella must come to terms with her new life as a vampire and her growing attraction to Edward. AU.
