I've had this on my to be read list for so long. I'm very pleased I'm finally getting into it! I really like your writing style, and the 3rd person doesn't pull me out of it too much the way you've done it. Looking foward to more. :)

I know that on this site I have to press 'preview' before submit, becasue it's often wonky or has HUGE gaps between lines. Once it took me over an hour to get a chapter right. Very fustrating!

The research you put into this is amazing!!! And very appreciated! My eyes are buuuuuring, I sobbed so much. I have NEVER cried like that reading fan fiction. Not just the emotions, but the setting of the mood around them, the affection you'd pre-established for Edward's parents. Bella was so wonderful, taking turns with her husband to stay with his mother. Now THAT is love! God, my heart was breaking for Edward, and then to see his mother's grief, and then Edward's again, and then Bella's when Edward got sick, and him saying sorry!!! Oh! Such splendid emotions! 

There was one point that I forget, but I appreciated you not patronizing us by spelling it out; it was all there in... oh. I think it had something to do with the story of the cat. How I loved that! Brilliantly heart tugging, showing us the history of their relationship! 

And then to give us a twist! You are such a wonderful storyteller. Gah! You leave us with suspense once again, wondering if the transfusions will work. I loved Carlisle's surprise, and Bella thinking that James' venom could have something to do with it too. Interesting. BRAVO! 

Whatever BT is nominated for, it should win every time, because this is one of THE best fics out there. IMO. 

Oooh, saving this in my faves to read later. Sorry you were pulled from stupid ffn, but the talk about it let me to your story, so for that I'm pleased. :-)

I actually couldn't sleep last night after reading to chapter 10, thinking about how deep these characters are and their secret pasts. Brilliant job on that! I read the prologue when the story was a few chapters in and was revolted by Edward's behaviour. I had no idea what a wonderful, descriptive writer you were as my mind was too overcome with the violence of his words and actions. Plus, the promotional material for the fic seems to glorify this. However... the fic itself does not glorify him. It's BPOV, and she's damaged, so we can't rely on her sexual draw to someone so volitile. Very unexpected and refreshing! 

The way you'd phrase things sometimes, I'd have to re-read, it was so well done and beautiful. God... and Bella's past... I've experienced SOME of that, so I know how realistic her pain is. How little she values herslef, yet she can't see it. Boy, that hit home. Kelly Province recced this on Twitter, saying it was deep, so I gave it another shot. So glad I did. 

And to think we'd come to a place FIVE years later, when Edward realises his mistakes. Jeez, did not see that coming! So good that Bella has a wake up call on the way. I can't even begin to tell you how well you've depicted her. I think she's the best three dimentional Bella I've come across. All the characters feel unique in their own way, which is TOUGH to do. Bravo! 

Although I cringed at Bella letting herself be treated by Edward that way (even getting turned on by it), you wrote it so believably, so in tune with her personality, I bought her reasons. That's a big thing to portray as a writer, especially given the subject matter. IMO, if the promotional material for this story was more about Bella's hurt, and not "Roughie", etc, there may not be as much flack for it. But that's just my opinion, because I was so shocked to find a very well written story under what appeared on the surface to be cheap thrills for no valid reason. How wrong I was.  

IMO, your story isn't popular because of "rough," titilating lemons, it's because great writing is fused with interesting characters who have hurts and mysteries. I'm eating humble pie, and I can't rave enough (obviously).

PS. The scene of Bella in the car with her parents and Charlie's going off at her... then Renee--all bored--tells Bella to get out while he's getting his pay... OMG. I FELT Bella's pain. I felt like I was 10 again, being told by my father in MY family's car, after asking where we were going, "Why do you think you're so special to know? You're just along for the ride." Those words would repeat later in life, stopping me from defending myself over and over. The fact that you knew to give Bella this past... brilliant.
