Bio:
Desiree L. Scott has been writing since she was sixteen years old. There have been many influences within her life that has set her on the path that she cannot help but walk. A few of those influences consist of Karen Rose, Lisa Gardener, Nora Roberts, Cynthia Eden, Catherine Anderson, Laura Griffin, Andrea Kane, and Lisa Jackson, just to name a few. This list by no means defines by own writing but they have indeed influenced her desire to live outside of her own world and to create the thrill of her dreams.
Desiree lives on 40 + acres in the SHOW ME state with her seven-year old daughter, with the wonderful addition of four dogs and a handful of chickens. The weather is unpredictable, but the surrounding beauty of the country helps her creativity as she sits on her top deck with her laptop and coffee close by.
Victoria Rowland, murdered over and over again, knows all too well the torture the missing women endure. She knows how each blow feels, every chill of terror, and the pain they suffer before death is granted. Waking up drenched in their blood has been normal for her since a young age.
The recent visions lead her to Wallace, Idaho where a small mountain town is plagued by the murderous chaos following the reports of several missing women.
Sheriff Grayson Henderson doesn't need bodies to know that something sinister is going on in his town. Before long, he is convinced that they have a serial killer in their midst.
When a mysterious woman, claiming to have psychic abilities rolls into town, Grayson struggles to keep the investigation into the recent disappearances from derailing entirely and meeting Victoria Rowland is an unwelcome distraction. Unwilling to admit to the possibility of her visions, he objects to her involvement.
Then his sister goes missing and he's willing to do anything to get her back.
