Bio:
My niece introduced me to Twilight after it had been around for almost 10 years already. It started with her sitting on my couch reading. I looked over and asked “oh, what are you reading, Twilight? Isn’t that just about sparkly vampires?” She glared at me.
“Yes they sparkle but it’s about so much more” was her response. (One that I would probably give now too.)
Then the next day she asked “Please can we watch the movie?” And I gave in. I was hooked. I read all of the books and watched all of the movies in about a month. It’s an obsession.
Writing makes me happy, and it gives me something that is all my own outside of being a mom. As long as I continue to have ideas and plot bunnies, I'll be here.
Pregnant at 18, Bella struggles to make peace with her decision to give her baby up for adoption. Her father suggests moving in with her mother and step-father in Ohio for a change of pace. She meets Edward, a young Amish widower conflicted about his faith after his wife's death. Can they form a bond strong enough to help each other heal?
This story is very loosely based off of a story called Autumn’s Promise by Shelley Shepard Gray. It has no smut in it and is very Christian based (it’s an Amish story, so...lol!) but it’s so sweet and I hope some of you will check it out!
