I don't think Edward is used to being around children. Bella is not used to people. NOT being used to toddlers. In a very large sense,mthey are still sounding each other out. That Edward is so attentive to Seth's actions might just be the beginnings of deep down sincere caring and concern for him. Also, Edward's taking note of everything Bella has to carry with her is a true Ah ha moment. Great update. Nothing seems unnaturally rushed or out of whack.
My daughter's pediatrician once told me that any growth is a good thing. I was a nervous wreck. ( 1st baby), and he reminded me that growing alone was a plus on its own. Your little guy remains in our prayers. Latex can be nasty! Even a bandaid can cause problems. Keep the faith!
P.s. that 1st baby is now 18 and going to college on a full presidential scholarship. Try my mantras: " one day at a time." and. " this too shall pass" . Take care!

I think that Bella was very harsh towards Edward when he was saving her son from getting hurt by the flag pole. I have had to carry one before, and it was heavy as crap even with the holder around your neck. Bella was the one who was in the wrong this time.
Please do not tell me that this is a story where Rose wants Edward to herself. It gives me the creeps to think about it let alone read it. I hope that she is just being protective.

I love this story. I couldn't stop reading once I started.
I can totally relate to being frustrated with doctors when they can't diagnose your child. My son projectile vomitted just about everything he put in his mouth for his first two years. We spent many a nights in the ER getting fluids and taking test after test with no luck. Finally after he turned two he started keeping stuff down. Now he's as healthy as can be but still small for his age. Because of my experiences my heart ached for your Bella.
I can't wait for the next chapter to see what havoc Seth can wreak in the Oval Office :)
