I definitely did not expect this, but I think it's a wise decision to get away and clear the head of all the things that are bothering her...It is good that Bella did not decide to just leave everyone behind but talk to her dad first. Of course she should let Edward know where she is, but she will need some time to sort her mind out and to calm down. I don't think that James will stop even if she leaves, so it won't make it better at all! I hope that Charlie can calm her down and let her come to her senses. He will help her with his calm spirits and then try to strengthen her optimism :)

Honestly I was a bit irritated why you informed us about the climax of the story and repeatedly added that it will be a happy ending - it kind of takes the thrill a bit out of it, unfortunately.
Nevertheless, I'm going to read the story till its end, but know that we approximately know when the big blow will come, it is kind of too much knowledge in advance...
