Personally, I think this chapter was exceptional! You have introduced Edward as. A rather stuffy, self assured young man and brought him down, peg by peg. He may be book smart, but I'lltake streets mart any day! Not being street smart, Edward falls into each of Tanya's traps and his amazingly unselfish intentions show us a more rounded Edward. All the suffering he goes through bring s him down to his lowest point - hurting Bella - a Bella he almost doesn't recognize for all she has gone through. It is only then that Edward cracks. He is no longer stuffy, no longer well rounded, but pained , hurt and deeply shamed.
The job you have done here is stunning. Anyone can write a 1 dimensional character. You have made him rich and multi- faceted. I know you will do the same with Bella. Thank you for a phenomenally emotional read! I can't wait for more!

Wow! I can't believe that people actually wish you guys bodily harm just because of a story. It's just a story people! It's NOT real life! Take it as it was meant to be taken, as entertainment. Damn, that was kind of fast, but I guess they had a third date of sorts, even though they didn't define it as date. Ugh, kinda frustrating they haven't defined their relatioship, but seem like Bella doesn't mind. I don't know. It was a great chapter, I just felt it was too fast for them.
Thanks for the update. Oh, before I forget, if you need to quote several paragraphs, and do not want to use the block quote, you have to put an opening quotation mark at the beginning of each paragraph but not at the end of any of the paragraphs except the one that concludes the quotation.

I loved this chapter! Bella's character really shines here. Esme is a wonder. One great big mixture of gentle kindness wrapped up in durable intelligence. Bella, I think, is finding it easier to confide in the Cullens. Her discomfort in the beginning gave way to firm resolve to repay they kindnesses while learning about the world.
She is right when she says that it was difficult to watch her father forget her. I have had experience with this trial of mortal illness and it shakes you to the core to think that the person at the very center of your existence can forget you as easily as one sweeps chalk from a chalkboard! It hurts profoundly and changes the way you see yourself with others. Again, Bravo on an emotional tour du force!
