So many things happen on this chapter... I don't like Angela and her attitude towards Edward, pushing herself onto him and not paying attention to the fact that he is interested in Bella makes me like her even less. Why is she getting mad about him and Bella? she was OK to go after Ben without a thought about Edward's feelings and why is she now comparing Ben to Edward? Something is not right.
I don't care for Alice either, she is so pushing Angela towards Edward just because they are best friends.
It is pretty clear that Edward has the hots for Bella because he wants to get to know her and he spend time with her. What I don't get is how he got suckered in a relationship with Angela and being a complete ass to Bella? I know it will be explained later.

I have to say back in the 80's when DNA became a way to prove who was the Father of a child. I was one of the first they did this on, they did blood test, in 85 on my daughter, then in later they decided to try the DNA so they took more blood. No it wasn't just a swab test back then. Well it came back 99.9% of him being the father, and he still took it to court. The judge thru it out, since the person who actually perform the test wasn't there the head of the lab that did the test was there. Well I won anyway, because he had made a mistake of sending her a card saying love daddy. That's my story of DNA, seeing as Angela works at doing these test I can bet her and Alice are in on it to prove the baby isn't Edward's. Alice always struck me as someone who gets her way. If you read the orignal story, you can see how she did what she wanted to get her way. Had she not wanted Bella with Edward she would have made it happen. Just saying.

I by no means agree with how they treated Bella, growing up.
