I like the way you think. Yes and no. If Bella were a vampire and was threatened by James, Edward could kill him without a second thought. It's a male's right to protect his female, even if it involves death. But since she isn't, and Edward would protect a human,regardless of being his mate, he could face a punishment. I think I kinda explain what you're asking in ch 8...I think. LOL I would have to check it out, I don't rememeber anymore what chapter I cover that in. Yeah, Edward will make sure that when he marks her, that everyone will know she is his. lol But there are some males that can't leave Bella alone. You see, Bella possesses something special that draws male vampires to her, not all but many.

The government isn't going to like this, but there's no law that forbids a vampire taking a human as a mate in this story. The only thing that Aro forbids concerning humans and vampire mates is that a vampire can't change a human into a hybrid. He has a reason for that which i will cover soon, probably ch 13 or 14.

They haven't found the vamp killer yet who killed her parents. But I will reveal that eventually. Yeah, Renee and Charlie adore Bella- like their own. They've been very close friends with her parents for a while. I'll reveal more about vamp hospitals as time goes on.

Thank you. I'm glad you still like it. Yes, lol, it is a bit caveman now since you mentioned it. The vampire males are quite dominant towards their females in here. But they cherish them very much. Since this story is a HEA, Bella will become a hybrid eventually. LOL yeah, kinda a spoiler but not really. There is a way around this whole hybrid law.  So Bella will become quite dominant against her mate. LOL I guess you could say that the true mate concept is kinda like finding your soulmate, except this is way more intense, animalstic in a way because of the claiming and quite dominant. Yes, I know right? It bothered me a lot when Charlie and Renee didn't know a damn thing. Thank you, i'm happy you like Charlie and Renee here.

Yeah, the vamp gov't is very cruel. Good question. Unfortunately, in Bella's case everything was taken from her because there was no will ( Not a very smart move at all- her parents should have had a will. Now Bella's father was becoming quite ill- they were in the process of making a will -her mom and dad- but it was never completed.) But with that being said, Bella would have still lost some of her estate items, because most of the time the gov't would have taken what they pleased. So in the end, it all depends on the govt if they decide what is valuable enough, they'll snatch it anyways. Bella was only lleft with her clothes, shoes, music box and little personal items, but everything else of greater value was taken from her. Now because Bella's grandmother had passed away, she didn't have much left either. Her g-ma had a few belongings and she lived in a little aparment. Most of the humans in this story don't have much unfortunately. And then, the vamp gov't will snatch anything away of value. it's very cruel. =(

I'm actually working on an outtake in EPOV before he met Bella, and when he saved her from James the first day of school. I will try to explain how he knew Bella was "the one" when he first laid his eyes upon here. It's a little difficult, because sometimes these intense emotions are difficult to put into words. But i will give it my best. Hopefully, I will have EPOV completed soon.

I've started on ch 12, and it's difficult for me to cut down the chapter. I think I will continue to write longer chapters, but I will also update sooner too.

Yeah, I guess if my chapters don’t have a lot of plot progression I feel like they are lacking…a lot. Lol But I guess can’t have something exciting happen in every chapter like I want. When Edward first marked Bella in the school some vamps were in awe, shock, disgust….some even became really aroused. Just lots of different emotions. Now for the vamps who felt any negative emotion towards the marking only had to do with the fact that a vampire was marking a human as his mate….same goes for mating in public with a human. They don’t understand why a vampire would claim a human. Most vampires don’t frown upon public mating or marking. They don’t think it’s weird at all, it was encouraged many years ago esp on their planet. It’s who they are as a species. They love to dominate their mates in front of everyone, it shows the others who belongs to whom…in a more explicit way. Lol I could show a scene during a public setting where a male claims his mate sexually and by marking venom. I bet Bella’s eyes would go wide, or any human for that matter when that occurs while the vampires would act like it’s just a normal day occurrence. Lol

Yes, exactly! I’m sooo glad you picked up on that. Great question. It is most definitely a manners/respect thing. Ben has to ask permission from Edward- most times when it concerns more private matters-the male has to address the mated male. And he must approach Edward at all times concerning certain situations first. Now, Edward is Ben’s best friend, he knows that he wouldn’t try to steal his Bella away, but it’s all out of respect still. So yes, when there’s a school assignment that has to be done out of class and a male vampire has to work with a mated female, the male still needs to ask permission from the mated male. It’s very important, or things will get …deadly between the two males. =(

Oh yeah…The Thirst vamp…he only wanted Bella for her blood. I should have mentioned this in the chapter…oops lol. But when a male vampire wants a female whether she is human or not, he’ll secrete the red marking venom even though she may not be his true mate. So let’s say…what can I call the Thirst vamp?...hmmm…okay Snarly, lol, if he wanted Bella as a mate or sexually, his fangs would have been dripping with red venom instead of green. Great question btw. Yeah, the Thirst is something that turns these vamps into scary monsters…very feral, blood thirsty….and can be very sexual as well too. I will definitely explain what happened to Edward…Bella wants to find out too. Lol

Awww thank you. I’m flattered that you like this story so much. =) I’m torn about the long chapters too. I like to write long chapters, but I had some, not here on this site, complain about the length…but I don’t see how I can shorten them anymore. It’s very detailed, and one scene can take up at least 10 to 15 pages easily. I will start writing ch 12, and it may be as long as this chapter. But the update won’t take so long this time. =)...I think....j/k lol

I love to read lemons, but writing them are a whole different story for me. lol  I better get more comfortable with it since there will be lots more. Great question---> Did she just get lucky that it didn't hurt? I guess you could say she's lucky that she was human when she had sex with Edward. The marking venom's effect on a human body are much more powerful than on a female vamp's body...the sensation of pleasure is higher for a human because the marking venom mixes with blood. When venom mixes with blood, the warm pleasurable tingling sensations are much more potent compared to marking venom mixing with just venom of a female vamp. So Bella was quite lucky, the marking venom replaced the pain with pleasure times 10. <----I hope that makes sense. lol

Another great question---> I am curious of something though, Alice said it's very, very rare for a vampire to want to mark/take a female that was not interested in return yet Bella seems to come across a lot of them (James, Garrett and Mike), why is that? Okay, I'll tell you as much as I can without giving everything away.lol Unless you want to know exactly everything...like all the details, then you can just contact me. lol J/S Bella ...possesses something that attracts male vampires to her. When she becomes a hybrid eventually (and yes, lol, she will. I don't think I would have the heart to kill her off or keep her human...there's a way around this whole hybrid law) Anyways, once she's turned you'll understand why these males are so attracted to her. And believe me, there will be lots more. Poor Edward, he better be prepared to let her know who she belongs to, as well as telling the other males to F*** off.  And eventually, I will have a scene on why hybrids are so forbidden.

Oh yes, Edward wants to punish Bella. He's got this real dominant side to him, like all male vamps. And I think he'll show that side of him real soon...or more of it. Hopefully, Bella will enjoy it. As the days go on, the bond grows stronger between them, making him wild for her and vice versa...and Edward will be a little more possessive. The more he feeds from her, he'll be able to 'feel' her emotions. I actually reveal that in ch 11. So if Bella were to feel scared, he'll know without being  right next to her. That will be helpful in certain situations.

I totally get what you're saying. Charlie and Renee aren't allowed to raise Bella in an all human town. They know that it will be extremely difficult for her, but Bella doesn't have anyone she could move in with. It's not so much that vamps are forbidden to go to an all human town, but to keep humans from going crazy with fright, vamps and humans live in sepearte towns. I guess you could say that it helps keep some peace among the two species, even though vampires do attack a human occassionally by snatching them from their towns.
