I really like the way you've written Andria. She is quite different from Bella, which I think is important, but yet, the reader can still see how she could be attractive to Edward and how a relationship with her would NOT be "Bella: the sequel" but a completely new experience for him.
I also like the way you write Edward coming to terms with the idea that he could have a relationship with someone without betraying what he had with Bella. "I was only making room in my heart for Alexandria."

Wow! There was a lot happening in this chapter! But Edward and Andria had some important discussions, esp. about facing loss and life. I like that Andria is something of a daredevil and so fearless. I'm becoming intrigued about the circumstances of her brother's death and wondering if we'll be learning more about that later.

So sad! You did a very good job coming up with a plausible story for how Edward could have ended up alone. Since they had been with Em and Rose, they didn't have the benefit of Alice's foresight or Jasper's fighting expertise, so it makes sense that the other vampires could have gotten the upper hand.
I think you did a great job with Edward's level of sadness and hopelessness, yet he is hanging on for Nessie's sake. Nessie's talk with Edward near the end of the chapter was my favorite part; it was very poignant ("This isn’t happy, Dad, this is scary.")

I think this chapter does a great job of providing just enough background on Andria to make her intriguing and sympathetic. Although I'm not sure about some of her financial decisions (spending nearly all her money on a house), but she is just eighteen! LOL.
One typo that jumped out at me: Maybe in a few years I could bare the idea that I was alone. I believe you meant to type: I could bear the idea . . . (since bare means to uncover and bear means to support, in this context).
