No, not heartless...But I did hold the tears back.  The "whole being with Edward in the meadow" the last few chapters and this one was especially hard.  It broke my heart, actually.  I always knew the love Bella and Edward had for each other.  It was absolute magic!!  You wrote it soo beautifully and ended it with Edward's parents and Esme and her baby.  Absolutely beautiful.  I hope Bella is able to tell the rest of them about it.  We'll see.

Wow, what a cliffhanger. I was surprised to see Vicky and Riley enter the fold, and I'm just hoping Bella can be stay human a little longer, as she wanted. If that can't happen, I hope she's changed immediately. I cannot WAIT to see feral, pissed off Carlisle. :)

I knew something was coming! I am surprised Carlisle left her so easily as he hasn't in the past if I remember correctly. But then Victoria wouldn't have got so close! Look forward to Thursday! Will she need to be changed or not? Hopefully we'll find out Thursday :)

You called it.  I giggled when I read your last review knowing that this was on its way.  And you are right, Carlisle always has a hard time leaving Bella.  But nothing had happened to her up to this point and he figured he wouldn't be gone long and if he didn't hunt, he would be putting her in greater danger especially with a fresh cut.

AAAAAAAACK!!!!!  NOT VICTORIA!!!!!  OK, I'm kinda calm now.  Just kinda.  Who the hell does that bitch think she is, barging onto the Cullens' property and beating our Bella like that?!  The nerve!  I do have to give our girl Bella props, though, for all of her mentions of James.  You go, Bella!  I will admit that I'm worried.  Is Carlisle going to have to change her now?  Will she be able to recover and be changed when she originally planned?  Aaaaack, so many questions!

The little citrus was awesome and most appreciated.  I also loved Bella writing in her journals.  I'm sure it's very cathartic as well as necessary for when she undergoes her change.  I love it!

Now I have to try and go to sleep after reading this goodness!  Eeep!  It's OK, though, because I love you darling Nickey!

Happy Birthday! I was getting a little panicked with the 'Esme' reference, but it was okay! I still miss her though. And Edward. But then we wouldn't have this story if they were still here! I felt sad for Carlisle when Jasper told him about Esme not being his true mate, but he took it well. I can still feel the sadness behind the love though, making this more believable. Thank you!

Nickey!  I'm sorry I'm late to the party, but real life kept me from reading this update immediately.  Damn real life!  I love Christmas with the Cullens.  Bella buying them toys was just perfect.  Alice playing with the Barbie doll was completely priceless.  I'm glad the family got to spend a happy holiday together.  I got the warm fuzzies when Bella hugged Jasper and again when she asked Emmett to give her away at the wedding.  Now we know why Alice bought Bella those journals.  She saw what Carlisle and Bella wanted and wants Bella to document her human memories.  Clever little pixie! 

And why can't I get a Christmas present like Bella and Carlisle got!  Christmas morning sexin'!  Damn single life!

I loved Bella's goodbye scene with Edward. It was so lovely to see Esme with her little boy and to have Edward reunited with his parents. And the line about telling Carlisle that they get to keep their souls was really beautiful.  Well done.
