I must be a sadist but I'm enjoying Edwards suffering. He so deserves it. I'm glad she hasn't been making it easy on him. So how long has it been since she left him until now? I'm not quite clear on how long it's been. Somewhere between 1-3 months, right? She hasn't really had 'Bella' time to learn now to be on her own yet. She's also going to be pretty pissed when she finds out Emmett owns the building. Edward really shown own up to that eventually, because that's pretty messed up too. Not to mention, while Edward might be sorry, he still has some of his own issues to work on. Like his jealousy and insecurity.

Oh it would take a whole hell of a lot more than one dinner and an apology to get me back. She's right, he all but called her a whore. It's great she's working on herself but he needs to be working on himself too. If she goes back now she'd be entering into the exact same situation. Edward needs to work on his insecurity and trust issues that stem from his father/family. Unless I saw serious work going on in that aspect I would never get back with him. Bella owes it not only to herself, but to her child as well. Especially if that child is a girl. She can't teach that girl to respect herself if she doesn't lead by example. Not to mention little girls have a tendency to date men that are like their fathers so Edward needs to be the best man he can be.
Also, I think she should have insisted on a hyphenated last name. They aren't married so he doesn't get the honor of having that sole heir feeling. Not to mention it's practical. When my mom got remarried she had a bitch of a time while I was in school and she'd call or write me notes because we had different last names. I always had to explain that yes, she's my real mom.

I still think that Edward needs to suffer some more. How he treated Bella was cruel and unusual punishment that was not deserved. Bella still needs to stand on her own feet longer. okay...im finally coming out of the woodwork and i am going to be honest...from the beginning, i was somewhat repulsed by this story. i stuck with it and became invested to see how it would turn out...to see if you could make it out to be an inspiring story of change and growth and maturity rather than what i saw it for. i had hope for it and these characters. i honestly was completely turned off by this edward...him making her call his daddy was and still is beyond disturbing, not for the actual word, but in the way he used it...he didnt just want her to call him daddy during play and punishment in the bedroom...but all the time...and he really meant it in a parental way. the way he treated bella throughout this story and the ways shes acted are so very unattractive to me and disturbing. but i have stuck around because i thought you might just surprise us with a great twist, bringing on some much needed maturity from these too and the people around them...i look at other great writers of fanfiction and how they manage to make their smut filled stories into so much more...emotions, life teachings, and personal growth. and i hoped that you would as well. i was very happy with the pregnancy twist and the breakup and still am...i saw the pregnancy coming for awhile but worried that you would continue to let our characters continue their distructive relationship together in spite of it. i am extremely glad that they are broken up and that bella is beginning to show signs of maturity and personal growth but i worry that your making it too easy. they both have a long way to go before they are mature and responsible enough to be parents...and edward has a lot of mental and emotional issues that need to be dealt with on his own before becoming a father, or getting back with bella. all i ask of you is to please give this story the credit it needs and make it realistic...let your characters mature and wisen back up and hopefully make magic in the end, rather than continue down the path they were both on. please do the situation you have created justice rather than settling for less and an easy route. thank you for your writing and entertainment.

I agree that Edward did bring this upon himself, but he is really trying so hard to show her and express his love and feelings for not just her but for the baby as well. He is trying, I wouldn't say enough but not in the right way. As Bella said, she needed to hear him say he was sorry, not read it on a text. This isn't easy for either of them, but Bella has it more complicated. She is having to take care of herself and the baby, manage work, a different life, on her own for the first time and addd the hormones... Not easy.
Edward needs to keep trying and he needs to figure out the best way to prove himself.

Can't say I ever had any doubts he was the daddy, but I hope she makes him beg for it! I know I would! I am glad that she's moved out and is learning out to live on her own. I think it's important for her to grow more as a person before she settles down with Edward.
I'm also glad to see that Charlie won't tell Edward where Bella's at...it's about time he stepped up!
Even with all the angst, I'm still loving this story...thanks for sharing!!

I never doubted it, but I do question his intelligence. I agree that deep down he knew he was. I understand wanting to get any doubt out of the way, but his reaction was uncalled for. I thought for sure he would call off the amnio when he heard it could kill the baby. I do not blame her at all for wanting to leave him behind! But we know she can't because her heart won't let him go completely.

The only one with doubts was Edward and he is going to regret it and pay for it dearly. I can understand he was skeptical about the paternity, but he did things so, so terribly wrong. That is a huge mistake. He overreacts and now it is costing him all he ever wanted and more.
What are the rest of the Cullens going to do? Bella told Alice she wouldn't keep the baby from them, how are they going to work it out?

I hate when doctors tell patients they can't get pregnant or they are sterile. Miracles happen all the time. I do ultrasound and I see it. It causes more problems because people think cheating is going on and instead it is a miracle. Men especially need to be tested yearly if they are told they are sterile. I hope Edward goes to the doctor gets tested. He then needs to work on his groveling technique. He made a big mistake, but he loves her. She loves him. That is all that really matters.
