I personally dont think Edward over reacted. He had every right. Carlisle is wrong, and should have asked Edward as well if Edward's dad suggested it. He was wrong, and now Carlisle needs to leave Edward the fuck alone about it, because Edward clearly would never hurt Bella in anyway.
I'm also glad that Bella and Missy have eachother, maybe they can bond or some sister like shit. They both are the only girls, and both went through something horrible. So they deserve that friendship, and to form another family bond with Phil and Missy while their family is back at home. It will make them feel more comfortable. Maybe Bella and Edward can feel like they can just BE them if they bonded with Phil and Missy. Because Edward and Bella need that.
I hope the team steps up and stops giving them shit too.. but at the same time, even though its hard for Bella to let go, I hope she starts learning to let go soon, and just live her life the best way she can, for herself, and for Edward.
