I'm so curious as to who opened the door, or left it unbolted. Edward can't hear people, is it temporary or pemanent? What would be better? It's not easy to imagine a vampire Edward who can't hear people`s thoughts. But it could give things a unique twist, though. We'll have to wait and see. Is he going to call his father? If it continuous he should, even if he doesn't want to say anything about Bella.
