I can not begin to tell you how much I'm enjoying this story! I was raised on westerns and war movies and combine a western and a love story and I'm a goner! I love the dialect you use so lovingly and the details you add to each chapter. The chapter with the soldiers reminded me of something Lois Lamour once said. He said that at that time out west only one thing was sure to get you hung faster than stealing a man's horse, and that was accosting his wife. Women were so at a premium then. Izzy and Ed's relationship has moved perfectly and Jack was the perfect addition. Thank you for a marvelous read!
