A nice awkward first meeting. I was a little upset, like Edward, that Seth didn't speak with him but can also understand that it will take a while for all the broken bridges to be mended. I liked the mention of the Golden Globe only from Edward's point of view. It makes me as a reader wnt to bask his and Bella's heads together. Communication is key and had they had some then they wouldn't be in the situation they're in now.
Also the cracks are beginning to appear in Edward and Tanya's relationship. She definitely isn't as sweet and innocent as Edward seems to think, but at the same time she is having to deal with her boyfriend's ex living in his house with their two daughters, and now his parents, and all the above think Bella is wonderful and love her in some shape or form. It would be hard for any girl to compete with.
Yet another wonderful long chapter. Looking forward to reading more.

Sometimes children have the best view of reality--Juliet really summed it all up.
Edward's epiphany--Well, it's about time. Pride--the deadliest of the seven deadly sins. Pride goeth before a fall. You can go on and on about pride. Bella was insecure and didn't have faith. Edward was prideful.
Realization--step one. Hope they can now ADMIT it to each other. Then we'll see.
I love how Carlisle and Esme adore Bella. It's awesome.
Tanya--coming across as desperate and needy. Not all that attractive.

A difficult situation for everyone to be in but I think you write it wonderfully. Had to laugh at Bella finding the condoms. Also seems like Esme would like Edward and Bella back together again which could be awkward when Tanya is introduced to the family. The Independence Day celebrations could also prove a helluva awkward situation.

My heart is breaking for Bella. She has not moved on like Edward has. Here she was thinking he regretted leaving her and the girls for his music career, when he was just regretting leaving the park...made me cry for her. :(
I like Rosalie. I'm hoping that she'll find ou that the broken arm was on Tanya's watch and also hoping that Rosalie doesn't like Tanya.
I am hoping that Edward an Bella really talk-they have each matured so much since their break up. The attraction(and maybe love??) is still there. Things started out rough for them and they were so young and immature. Time and maturity can give a completely different perspective.

I really like the mixture of present day and flashback element of this story. You want to be mad at the "now" Edward, but after reading the "then" Edward you want to cut him some slack (just a teeny bit mind!).
