I'll admit to reading this with tears in my eyes; very, very touching. As usual I love their banter, but even more their willingness to be open and honest with each other. If Bella calls him on his bullshit, he settles down and deals with it.
And to meet his father and grandfather after all this time, and to feel the love and acceptance, is just wonderful. This for the guy who thought he wasn't worth loving. And to have a family heirloom ring for Bella--life is really changing. I just wonder what Carlisle asked for!

Just like last time you made me tear up. I feel so sorry for Edward and the crap his has had to deal with all his life and then to emotionally shut himself off. Now is has to relive all the emotional again but this time he gets to move on with Bella. I can understand why he does not want to lean on her so much but it is time like these we are all grateful that he has her.

This chapter was great and the email brought tears to my eyes. I've also resolved that if I ever have a daughter, I will name her Elizabeth (my middle name) because the idea of calling a baby Libby makes me giddy.
There's just something about the way your Edward and Bella relate to each other, the way they speak, that makes you feel the love that emanates from them and that all comes from you. So kudos for that.

Wow...SO glad Carlisle was nice & that Edward didn't freak out hearing that Bella actually had found him. I cried a wee bit in the letter Carlisle sent. Gosh Edwards grandparents were evil.
I loved how things got slightly akward when Bella brought up having babies & how they were able to move on from the akwardness, disguss it & even joke about it....man these two have come a LONG way!
"And while I didn't win the race or even get to run in the first place, I can't help but feel like I've won something on a much grander scale. I helped Edward through something I doubt he ever would've attempted alone, and best of all, by the looks of things, he'll come out of this happier for it.

I think you did very well with all the emotional stuff! I was enthralled from start to finish. These two are just perfect for each other, and i love how they each carry the others pain and baggage when necessary. Bella was inspirational in this chapter. And i am so happy they have connected with Carlisle.
Just as a side note, i found out today from a smoke dectector commercial on tv, that human's loose their sense of smell in their sleep. Amazing i know! I had absolutely no idea and i think this needs to undergo some serious testing! But anyway, if that is true, Bella's cooking must stir something else in Edward to get him to wake up ;)
