Hello all!

Hmm... What can I say? I am a 35 year old (Yikes! I don't feel that old) mother of two. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years as of March 9, 2009. Oh and I am addicted to reading.

What have I read?

All of the Twilight books and more of it's fanfiction than my husband can stand. I have read and re-read the entire series so many times I honestly can't tell you how many times. I didn't start reading Twilight until July 2008 when a friend lent me her copies of what she had at that point it included all but Breaking Dawn since it was to be released just days after she lent me the first three books. Needless to say, I became addicted and read one book a day, staying up until all hours of the night to finish the books. I had ordered Breaking Dawn on-line at Amazon.com only to not get it the day it was released. What did I do? I went to Borders that day and bought it anyway, knowing it would show up at my house in a couple of days. I couldn't wait. Now I have the copy that I bought at Borders that has been read to death. And the copy that I got in the mail, that hasn't been touched. LOL While on the topic of Breaking Dawn, it was an OK book. Not my favorite out of the series. But, oh well. That is what brought me to fanfiction anyway.

The movie? Hmmm... I have seen it three times now. It is also just OK. I think it could have been so much more.  Ah, New Moon!  What can I say about the second movie other than it was SO much better than the first.  Granted yes, they did still leave out some important scenes in my humble opinion but it was wonderful!  I am dying to see Eclipse this June.

I have yet to write any fanfiction. I have ideas. But, I have never been a writer. I have been assisting some writers of fanfiction here and Twilighted with ideas when they need someone to bounce ideas off of. I hope that one day (soon, I hope) I will get the courage to write my own fic to share. But, I won't count on it.

Other books...

I have read the entire series of Harry Potter. Own all the DVD's so far for this series as well. Same as the Twilight movies, they aren't the same as the book. But, good enough I did buy the movies to have at home. Funny on the second movie my son (then only two years old) heard Harry "speak" to the snake and for a long time when ever we would ask what a snake would say he would say "si ya hoth se heth" never just "sssssssssssssssssssssssss" like most toddlers. LOL

I have a local author that I like to read, Richard Paul Evans. He is nothing like the above mentioned authors and books. But, good all the same.

Oh and I have read all of Nicholas Sparks books. Actually, I am just starting his last book that I bought. It is called The Lucky One. So far it is okay. I must admit though, since I have started reading fanfiction I have a hard time trying to get into reading actual books. Or maybe it is just I haven't found any actual books that compare with some of you wonderful authors that are writing here. ;)
