New teacher and aspiring writer, Bella Swan, moves to Seattle. She finds fan-fiction-creation-inspiration in the enigmatic and surly playboy who lives in the upscale condo across from hers. As her newest on-line story develops, so does a correspondence with a mysterious reader/reviewer of that story. Is it a co-worker? Is it the hothead playboy? Bella is a Master's student who is forced to take a freshman class because her counselor "forgot" to make sure she took it. Edward is a last minute teacher added to the class Bella needs to take. The relationship between the two quickly transform to something more than just teacher and student.
