I've just caught up with this story and I love it. Such a great take on Fifty Shades. The only thing that seems off is that the role play doesn't seem to stop outside of the playroom and they haven't really defined the Dom/Sub aspect in a way that makes sense to me. The constant Kind Sir seems out of place at this point in their relationship, as does him putting off his affection at times. I'm also curious as to why he hasn't insisted on birth control yet. Condoms do put a damper on things in the heat of the moment and CG hated condoms, but of course, I understand this is your version. That just seems a little strange that they are living together and it hasn't come up yet. Once again, great story. Looking forward to more. Oh, and I love sinister Kate and Elliott is great.

Read the chapter again when Ana reconfirms her submission to him. In a long-term, loving romantic relationship that includes BDSM, contracts really aren't necessary. Ana trusts him, and she also tells him that she wants their sexual adventures to be spontaneous -- not so clearly and clinicially defined by a contract. Do people only have sex in the bedroom? Just as any other couple would treat a bedroom, they don't always necessarily play within the RROP.
Kind Sir is Ana's endearment for him. He's still her Dom; therefore, he's still her Kind Sir, just as she is his "baby."
As for the condoms, I honestly haven't had the chance to write that scene with everything else going on in the story. But I'll take that into consideration for an upcoming chapter. It's just a matter of fitting it in with the rest of the plot as it unfolds.
