I like your story so far. I couldn't believe Alice forced Bella to ride back with Edward and didn't trust her. However in the meantime it looks like it was a good idea of her after all, hopefully Bella and Alice will get closer again. It seems like Bella is getting better. But what about that last sentence there: "I looked up towards the clear blue sky and said my last word." ??? Hope this was just her good bye to Emily and not to life in general? Did she jump? I guess I have to wait and see/read.
By the way I loved the quote from "10 things I hate about you" in the last chapter. I absolutely adore that movie.

Puh, that went surprisingly well and nearly drama free. I was a little bit anxious about their meeting. And to be honest about Tanya turning for the worse because of Edward, as she does in so many other stories.

Will Victoria show up in future chapter? And who was this other guy Jack could remember? James?
It all seems a little bit tooooo good to be true. But whatever, I'm definitely not complaining about a low drama level story. SO thank you. :-)

She watched her son carefully as he made his way downstairs, with Alice by his side. Something wasn't right. Sure, he was smiling and acting jovial, but there was something that was just off. Their gazes met and her worry increased exponentially. Jack's eyes were dull and missing his usual spark.
She pulled him quietly to the side and whispered in his ear.
"What's wrong, baby?"
He smiled genuinely at her and shook his head.
"Nothing, Mom. I'm just a little nervous."
She narrowed her eyes and nodded, although she wasn't convinced that he was telling the truth, but starting an argument right now wasn't really an option at the moment.

This is the story of Pierce. She used to think she was a normal girl, but normal is not the norm in her family. She is a freak among freaks, almost unnatural...
To put it mildly, with out giving anything away... she doesn't fit in with the family business, or half her town.
She thought that after she left for college, things were going to get better. She couldn't be any more wrong.
Instead of going to medical school, she should have been a Vet.

Can't help but feel that Pierce is behaving a bit like a spoiled child (don't know how to word it better right now). Erin seems to at least make an effort and somehow I think that taking her as his mate was not his idea or even his prefered solution either. Or maybe he is just trying to manipulate her?
