My opinion is to disregard the negativity. It's great that people are seriously interested in your story and are chomping at the bit to get more, but RL sometimes...sucks ass and it's better to wait for a quality chapter than hurry through to appease someone else. A short chapter isn't a bad chapter. If quality was measured by length, there would be no such thing as poetry. Keep up the great work.

There were 15 authors in total that were stolen from. Leah210on ff.net had taken all of our stories and plugged in the wolfpack names to our stories. So my Edward was a Jacb and Bella a Leah. We had lots of support and they came down in a day, which I am grateful for. I am looking at the bright side, I did have a few readers come my way because of it. I messaged her readers and lead them to the real story.

She opened the door and narrowed her eyes. He was in uniform and while Bella had set the appointment, she hadn’t expected him to actually show up after he alerted the press. Bella knew he must have been in his fifties but he looked late thirties at the most. His dark skin and long braided hair told her that he was Native American. He was not unattractive but his eyes looked weathered, dim where they should have held a spark. In his hand he held an old notebook, nothing fancy and it looked well used. There were papers popping out the sides and the edges of those were rolled and torn.
The police officer stood on her porch and Bella at the door with her hands on her hips.
“How could you?” she accused. “We have been beating off reporters since I talked to you. Why would you do that to him?”

Wow to say that we are blown away by the response to this is a complete understatement of what we actually do feel—shock, awe, happiness, thrill ... just to name a few of our feelings. The fact that this one-shot only garnered an honorable mention in the contest does not go anywhere near the exhilaration we both feel over the heartfelt reviews and PM's we've received telling us how much you've loved this and how you voted for it. We have tossed a few ideas back and forth and have some of the story out-lined. Trust in us to finish this, but it will most likely be at least a couple of weeks before the next chapter posts, but it will be a substantial chapter and well worth the wait. A lot of you want Tanya, Renee, Phil, and James to get their just dues. Trust in us, we are usually great at doling out punishments. When all is done and said there should be no rock left unturned in the story. We're not sure how many chapters we will add, but you will get complete resolution by the end. Isabella del Cigno (21) is the daughter of the infamous mob boss, Charlie del Cigno (Cigno means swan in Italian). He's ruthless, cunning and deadly. The FBI wants to put an end to him but can't ever find enough evidence linking to him back to various crimes. Isabella is just as cunning and deadly but she lives the life of the mafia elite - fast cars, endless money and anything her heart desires, except freedom from the tyranny of her father. Yes, he wants to bring down the del Cigno Syndicate but he must save Isabella, who has a secret of her own...
