Jean’s baby is found, presumed abandoned and turned over to foster care. The child was nearly two years old when she was discovered deep in a forest hideaway with no identification, she barely spoke, but she was strong and her eyes showed that she was wise, intelligent, seeing. The authorities posted signs and made TV appearances pleading for someone to come forward and claim the little beauty that had been dubbed Bella.
