I knew he'd have to play up the act at some point to please Carlisle. I just hope that Bella will be able to forgive him. He has to hurt her to protect her. So sad!

I'm not sure I get what is with Carlisle, though, he thinks of Bella as a daughter, and yet he treats her as a sex object, he wants her to belong to his son, and yet he's planning on sending her to Demitri.

I feel like there is so much conflict in this story with no resolution in sight, how much longer is this story going to go?

I think it was too long considering how fast they were moving at the beginning of the relationship.

That's just society nowadays though. I think its retarded that people are together that long without getting married, it really shouldn't take that long to know that the person is right for you, and once you do know, why would you wait?

And as for "waiting for the right time" where they're not too busy or whatever, guess what: life never slows down; you are ALWAYS busy with something, so just do it.

I put my birthday on the forums profile edit thing and it still isn't letting me see this forum, so that's not the problem. It says "You are not authorized to read this forum" when I click on the link to it, so I don't think its an age thing, I think you must have locked it so that only "authorized" people can get into it. You should probably check that. If its not on your end, then this site just sucks.

On a happier note, I love the chapter and story, I wish the chapters were longer, but that would probably mean that you would update less often, but I'm okay with that...

That's because more time HAS passed, for us... that's the problem with short chapters, they feel like they take a lot longer than they are...

As rare as it is for young shotgun weddings to work out -- it does happen occasionally. And if it isn't going to work out, sometimes people have to figure that out the hard way.

The most successful story I can think of though, was a newspaper article about an adorable old couple that was celebrating, get this, their 80th aniversary. Yes, I typed that and you read it right, 80th anniversary. They got married at 17 and were then 97. (It was a couple years ago, I have no idea how that couple is doing now. More likely than not, one or both are dead.) Everyone said it wouldn't work out. Well, 80 years later, I'd say it worked out...

It is actually kind of sad that people don't make that leap of faith more often. Because a lot of the time it isn't compatibility or whatever that keeps a marriage together. Its work. REALLY hard work, no matter who it is. Nowadays people are so scared of divorce that they wait forever to get married, but waiting forever doesn't mean that the marriage will have better chances.

So, anyway, as scary as it sounds, they are adults, its their decision and they're the ones that have to live with it.

So ever since I clicked that Roosevelt Hotel link on here I've been getting ads here and youtube and stuff for Roosevelt Hotel. Creepy to think that ad makers really do follow your internet habits.

This is a great story, lots of potential.
