OMG! I just about had a heart attack! I decided to reread the last chapter of Fold Your Wings on FF and noticed it was missing. I assumed that some biotch complained and had your story pulled. I'm so sick of those narrow minded twats! Sorry, but it seems this is happening more and more. If someone doesn't like something, don't read it!!!!! End of story!!!! Any who... I'm glad your still on TWCS. Your story is amazing. I kind of believe that maybe Charlie was driving drunk and was somehow involved in the death of Edward's daughter and wife. I don't know if there was a wife. I'm just guessing. I'm guessing that Edward approached Bella and is using her as some kind of sick revenge. Just a hunch. I can't wait for the next update. Another awesome chapter! How many years have gone by? 3? Bella definitely made it. She seems like she's just existing though. Not living. I was a little dissappointed because there was not Edward/Bella interation this chapter. What has Edward been doing all this time? Maybe he had a little falll from grace. He is wearing jeans and chucks. So doesn't sound like him! I'm with Bella on this one. WTF!?!? I've been on pins and needles waiting for this update. Can't wait to read more of this story. Was he having a panic attack? I was surprised that Bella decided to go to Edward's apartment again after all these years. I think it freaked her out when the doorman remembered her. In August of 1931, almost two years after the disastrous stock market crash on Wall Street, Bella's wealthy family suddenly find themselves broke and homeless in New York City. She is sent to live on her birth father's struggling farm in Oklahoma and soon the pampered, well-to-do city girl is forced to face life as a poor country bumpkin. The transition will not be easy for the overindulged sixteen year old. To make matters worse, choking dust storms, a dangerous drought and the hiring of a handsome but hardheaded homeless man will complicate Bella's life even further.

Edward was 19. Bella was 13. They were next door neighbors. Charlie was the chief of police. Carlisle was a doctor at the local hospital.
Edward’s little sister Alice was also 13 and Bella’s best friend.
While home from college for the summer, Edward spent time with his little sister and her best friend so their parents could all go out for dinner.
Over the next several years, Edward and Bella became good friends, until the summer she turned 16 when she transformed before his eyes.
AH, ExB, Mostly EPOV, sort of coming-of-age, hopefully a little poignant, with a splash of angst until Bella's at least seventeen. Mature for language, eventual lemons and a very spunky Bella.
