Yay the pond and area around it is on the path to healing. Poor Emmett, is he gonna get an education on the mythological side of life?

I have two guesses without going back to look. 1) Wasn't Lauren the one Edward was supposed to go on that date with. 2) the one that was Emmett's booty call. Glad Bella went back and Rose was able to put some things into perspective for Bella. She needed to hear some of those things. Can't wait to see how the talk goes.

So here's your reward: … About twenty minutes into the movie, a tall blonde entered the screen and Emmett laughed out loud. “Ed, if I didn't know any better, I'd think that chick was Lauren.” Before I could say anything, Rosalie scoffed at him. “I'm surprised you even remember the names of all your tramps.” Emmett answered her with a wide smirk. “Sorry to burst your bubble, princess, but I actually do know the name of every woman I granted the honor of satisfying me. And one of them has been said a lot here tonight.” He paused for a moment to revel in her angry scowl. “I wasn't talking about one of my past companions, though, but of Edward's.” He turned to look at me. “Don't you think she looks like that girl you dated in college?” I hadn't actually thought about her in a while, and I hadn't seen her since we'd broken up, but maybe there was a slight similarity. Bella seemed to notice and started to explain. “Your father mentioned her. He said that the Mallory girl,” she made air-quotes, “skipped town for twenty-thousand dollars.” Her eyes were locked with mine, grief darkening the deep brown. “I'm so sorry, Edward.” “If that chick took money from your good-for-nothing father to leave you, then she isn't even worth another thought. I never liked her anyway.” I could always count on Emmett to have my back. “I know,” I agreed. “But it still hurts to know how easy it was to leave me behind.” It wasn't hard to get over Lauren by any means. Our connection had never run very deep, but she had been my girlfriend, and it was hard to learn that something like that happened behind my back. OK Edward is a better person then me cause I would have made Esme leave and told her not to come around until I called her. I understand she has issues and is trying to work them out but she was in the wrong to just show up. I get why she did, I know if she called first Edward would have said no, but she was still wrong. I wouldn't want her near my baby until she fixed herself and her relationship with me.
I wouldn't be able to trust her near my baby. What was Bella thinking? As a mother she should have taken Edward's feelings in consideration before letting Esme in.

Teaser has got to be Emmett, so far I think he is the only one that calls Edward, Ed.

And I disagree. Bella's not using Edward. He's her best friend and she's afraid to lose him. But smart man that he is, he made sure she can't hide from his feelings anymore. After his confession, she can either move out and work out a visitation schedule or give in. She either loses him now or takes a chance and might lose him later. So, what do you think she'll do? Wow! I had some tears at the scenes with her brother and Edward. I loved those scenes. That lemon was hot.

So instead of helping/talking Edward through his pain all Bella cares about is mating. How is that fair? If the situations were reversed Edward would have been called an a** or a pig and been yelled at.

It's more than just 'mating.' They will die if their connection fades away. Mating and time solidifies that connection. Edward's injuries from the gas were exacerbated by his walls that he put up after Victoria was pronounced dead. He was hurting from the gas and hurting from pushing Bella away. If you noticed, he got almost immediately better once they bonded. Additionally, Bella was hurting, too. Not to the extent of Edward, but she was experiencing pain and was unable to maintain focus.

Loved the chapter I just have one issue. A few chapters ago Bella and Edward had stuff that need to be done but Bella wanted sex so they had sex. Yet in this chapter they have stuff to do and Edward wanted sex and Bella said no we have stuff to do. How is that fair at all?

I know why he is helping her, besides he is in desperate need for money, It's because Edward has a heart. Cant wait to see where you take this story.

Tanya is a piece of work. Im glad Bella and Edward seem to have found a common ground to work on at the moment.

Bella is an idiot. He tries and send a sweet text, which she ignored by the way. If I was Edward I would treat her the same way. I can say it looks like he is trying more then her. Call me hateful, but I don't feel sorry for Bella at all. On what level is it ok for her to lie(even a white lie) to Edward and it not be ok for him to lie? That is not a marriage and her lie is a bit more then just a white one, is she going to blame him when he finds out that she lied? Jacob needs to man up and tell Edward what she is doing, that is to big of a thing to hide in a new marriage.

Edward lied about why he even met her and that his intention was to screw her over and walk away with the money. Bella decided not to tell him about something she can't change anyway. It wouldn't do anybody any good if Edward refused to take her money even though she can't be the restaurant anyway. And Edward will eventually find out. See you next chapter.

Ok either Bella doesn't tell her family or they don't agree with her choices. Those are two of the reasons I think Jacob walks her down. I'm sure there are other reasons but those are the first two that come to mind.

While I commend Bella for doing this, and I know it's not true and sounds selfish on my part, but how can she really miss her husband when she hasn't been there for him when he needed/wanted her there. I love all the Cullen's so far. Bella could have told Edward differently about her eating habits. I felt like she was chastising him for being him. She knows the kind of man he is, he is concerned for his mate. Pretty sure the other males would have asked the same of their other halfs if they were human. She made it seem he was in he wrong. My husband does just like Edward if I don't eat much at a meal.

That's interesting hat Emmett mates with Angelica and not Rose.
