I should have expected that she would have a nightmare, the trauma of having our home invaded was enough to unnerve me, I can only guess what memories it stirred in her. Removing my shirt that was full of tears and dirty from her nose I laid back down with her head on my chest. “We’ll change the locks tomorrow and figure out who it was, that will make you feel safer. It was just a dream Bella, I swear I would die before I let anyone hurt you.”  

“Don’t say that!”

I wasn’t sure what she was talking about when she abruptly shot her head up to look at me. “I couldn’t stand it if something happened to you. I couldn’t take it”

Even in the darkness of the room I could see the fierceness in Bella’s eyes as the tears fell down her face. “Nothing is going to happen to me, and nothing is going to happen to you. Now stop with the tears and lets go back to sleep”

Cupping her face my thumb wiped away the tears as she nuzzled her cheek against my palm before turning her head to placing a soft kiss in the center of my hand. “Do you think I’m crazy?”

“No…” why the hell would I think that?  

“…I think it was a stressful night and I think you have a lot on your mind and have dealt with more in your life then any one person should have to deal with. I told you before baby, I think you are the strongest person I know; a lesser person would have called it quits a long time ago. Now let’s go back to sleep, I have a promise to keep to a dog”

Well first off, welcome to the story. I'm glad you found it and you like it. Hmmm, when I first set out with and outline, I had thought 45 - 50 chapters. But since this is my first FF and I had no idea how the characters seem to take on their own life, and things seem to happen that I had not antisapated I believe there will be more. My idea was to tell a day-by-day story of the summer they met and fell in love and all the things that happened around them. As well as letting people figure out who and why. All I can tell you is I know where the story is going and what has to happen along the way to get there. And as I said in my A/N's this is a slow boil and the pot is just starting to bubble....Thanks for reading and leaving the comment, I have a teaser for you...lml....

While the men went out to get started we worked in the kitchen making lunch. There wasn’t much room in the galley style kitchen, so I stood on the outside of the counter preparing the fruit salad, While Alice worked at the counter pressing burgers and Rose stood opposite me chopping vegetables for a salad.

“Alice thanks again for all the outfits, I’m sorry I should have called you yesterday” She looked up from her goo covered hands.

“I wasn’t sure if Edward was going to give them to you yesterday or not. Did everything fit?”

“Yes and I didn’t show…” I hesitated for a second catching myself before saying Edward’s name, I wasn’t sure if that was allowed. I cleared my throat to not sound stupid then added “…how the dress looked on me”

I was sort of proud of myself; Rose caught my eye and smirked, I guess I didn’t fool her.

“The only real problem with that dress is you can’t get on your knees.” Rose announced like she was telling me the time. Alice looked over her shoulder while she washed her hands.

“I don’t get on my knees Rose” I bite my lip trying to hide my amusement at their exchange. Rose spun around quickly putting her hand on her hip.  

You missed me...lol

I don't know that he is shy, he just never thought about it,,,and then when they got home ..well you know what happened, when given the choice between a talk about money or some back door love'n...I think he made the right choice...lol ..but hey that's just me....usual ...Here is a teaser for you...lml

We sat a little longer talking about some of the things she would like to do there. I had not been to Victoria in a long time and there were some new attractions that were possibilities for us to see. I thought it was a good time to bring up the extended stay at the beach. Bella seemed very opened to that possibility, made all the more attractive because both hotels allowed pets.

“When you talk to Alice would you get the name of the hotel so I can sort of figure out what the cost is going to be” The statement was harmless enough but my answer must not have been.

“I got it Bella you don’t have to worry about paying” her eyes narrowed

“Edward I’m not going to let you pay for the whole thing. We’re both going we’ll both pay”

“I’m the one that suggested the long trip, I got it” I watched as the resentfulness rolled across her face.

“This is not up for discussion, I’m paying my half”

What does she mean half are we going to split the cost of meals?  

“Isabella be…” I didn’t get to finish, Bella’s eyes turned to pure fury

Bella pulled back after placing one more soft kiss against my lips to look in my eyes while her hips wiggled against my dick. She smiled as the hiss left my mouth. “Little Eddie wants to play hide and seek”

“Oh he’s not hiding…” my hips thrust forward “…and he defiantly knows where to look”

“Well then…let him come find it” Her legs loss their grip as she slide down my body but I held her back firmly keeping her against my chest.

“Are you teasing me again?” the last time she tried this I ended up giving her a spanking over the kitchen counter, the memory alone made me throb.

“I wouldn’t think of it” stepping away the hint of a smile formed on her face, my girl was up to something. I eyed her speculatively but she gave nothing away as she moved towards the house telling me she was chilly and going in to get ready for bed. 

While Bella opened the door to go back in the house she stopped “Edward…” the somber look on her face was a direct contrast to the playful one she held just a minute before. “…do you trust me?”

what she did was better than an orgasm... and Edward's POV will explain what happened...thanks for reading, here is your teaser...

Picking up the first box I actually grunted because it was heavier than I thought it would be. After putting it on the table I turned around to see Bella carrying another one of the boxes.

“Isabella what are you doing?” I asked her while taking the box from her hand then realized the one she had was heavier then the first.

“I was carri…” I cut her off before she could finish

“I thought you had a fifteen pound weight limit”

“I do…” I stared at her in bewilderment

“This box has to be at least forty pounds” she looked at me like a deer caught in the head lights. I wasn’t mad –much- it was more concern for her wellbeing. Once the box was on the table I pulled Bella in for a hug. “I don’t want you to hurt yourself, so don’t do that anymore”

Walking into the house all the cares that had been forgotten came crashing back as he told me that the locksmith would be there in about a half-hour. I used that time to tell him what I had learned about Heather.

“Do you think that could have been her on the video?” He asked me as we sat outback playing fetch with Seth and a tennis ball.

“It could have been. But how would she know where you lived. I mean really Edward if she knew where I was why go to the center?” He thought about that for a few seconds as he once again threw the ball into the grass.

“I’m going to call Mr. Weiss and let him check on it, I’m also going to see if he can check on your Officer Hawk.”

“My Officer Hawk?”

He smirked “Well he’s not mine besides he didn’t really care until he found out who you were, and I’m not taking any chances. I don’t know how it will work with him being a cop and all but…” I cut him off because I had gotten an ingenious idea.

“I could have Charlie do it.

Leah went into the bathroom while Bella came around the corner into the kitchen. Our eyes met immediately as a warm smile engulfed her face. It was clear she had been crying and it took everything I had in me to remain in the chair and not run to comfort her. Sue looked up as she started putting food on the table then went over to hug Bella just as I wanted to. Bella nodded at whatever Sue was saying then left her go so she could say hello to her father.

“Hi daddy” Bella said wrapping her arms around him from the back before leaning down to kiss his cheek.

Charlie’s hand gripped her forearm then patted it in a fatherly manner. “Hi’a Bells. How are you?”

“I’m good…” Bella gazed at me while adding “…I guess you got to met Edward?”

“Yes…no thanks to you. Paul introduced us” Bella glared at Jacob mouthing ‘Paul’, Jacob held his hands up in surrender “You don’t want to know”

“What time did we go to bed or what time did we go to sleep?” Leah asked smugly raising her eyes in my direction.

“You couldn’t sleep?” Sue was concerned but Kim couldn’t resist “No there was a lot of yelling going on”

“Lots of yelling and banging” Emery added.

Before the conversation with Maggie Kim and Leah were teasing me in the restroom about how loud Edward and I were. So that meant that everyone else must have heard us too, which should have been evident by the laughter at the table. My face heated up as I tried to control my embarrassment while Edward just winked at me. Charlie on the other hand had no idea what was so funny came to his own conclusion. “I guess the kids on the beach must have been putting up quite a raucous if you heard it all the way back at the house”  

Thank god Charlie is so oblivious

“Oh yeah it was a raucous alright, as a matter of fact there was two of them”

“Two?” Emery questioned looking at Kim “We must have missed the second one”

Because James is an arrogant Asshole... and i don't think that he thought that Bella was in there...it's not something she would normally do ...thanks for reading ...lml

The vamp language was a killer because I had no idea how I wanted it to sound at first. I reallly wanted to use Romanian or Swedish or even Polish but I decided against it because these vamps are from another planet, I needed something different. So basically I just made soemthing up. lmao It's not exactly how I wanted it to sound, but hey, I tried. lol
