Wow. Just...wow. I must admit I was very hesitant to continue reading after the first few chapters, just because I'm not a big fan of heavy angst and it was obvious this story was going to be full of it. But I decided to give it a real try, and now 6 hours later, after not being able to "put it down," I'm just in awe. This story was so beautifully written, and the characters and plot you developed were masterful. I never imagined that a story with this subject matter could keep me as involved as I've been while reading it. I must have gone through half a box of tissues because I couldn't go two chapters without tearing up. I'm so happy that you gave them a happy ending, and the image of the gate coming down is the best ending anyone could have imagined. Just an absolutely incredible story all around! Can't wait to read what you come up with next (as I hope you have another story planned! You're too brillant a writer to not share your work!)
