He can be a possessive prick but she can't be jealous? She should not be punished, it was her first play party. She was probably not ready for the hateful looks and comments. I want to thank Fiorella for her review. It helped. This chapter got under my skin in a BIG way. I literally dreamt about it last night. I think my issue with Edward it that it seemed a little out of character for him. He went 0 to 60 so to speak. Your review helped but it still seems out of character which makes me feel like he was pushing too much, being irresponsible or just being cruel. As Edward keeps saying it is the responsibility of both Dom and sub to safeword. Edward knows that Bella has an issue with communication and actually knows that she is just a week behind her breakdown where she was stuttering. If she didn't safeword he should have called yellow. He is suppose to be able to read her (especially her facial expressions). HE should have known she was not okay and struggling with jealousy and nreves. Pushing her would have been making her come in a room with others, having Vanessa kneel at his feet seems mean and trying to set her up to fail. What was the purpose of that? Yikes...see way into it. lol Most of us have no knowledge of D/s relationships either so we read it strictly from an emotional point of view. And as you can see, we feel protective of Bella (even though we love Edward). As for Edward being lienent, this is where I think Edward is being appropriate. He knows that Bella is dealing and having to go through many emotional issues as well as being abused before. He gets his point across. She does not need a red behind, her self doubt causes enough pain. Whew, I feel better. Thanks for an amazing story that draws us all in so much. What amzing writing!

I liked this chapter and was glad that they talked, but I still feel like Edward was disrespectful to Bella.
I know as a Dom he counts her safeword as the guage, but he is sending her mixed messages too. He is trying to control her 24/7 (like with the food) but tells her he likes her stubborness. He likes it until she disagrees with him and then it's all Dom voice and a warning. She needs to control her temper, he needs to learn to support and not control. She is not the only one who needs to be trained. He needs to build her up more and address her concerns of his controlling nature outside of their D/s relationship. I think the food issue is going to become a big thing.
I worry about them like they are my family. lol LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this story!

Wow, that was heartbreaking.
First of all your writing is amazing. The reason we get so upset, is because your amazing, imaginitive, entralling story draws us in and makes us feel like Bella is our sister. We are protective of her.
So when someone delibertely hurts her we get UPSET! This is what I do not understand about BDSM, the infliction of emotional pain. I understand the need for punishment, so Bella understands she needs to trust she can share everything with Edward. What Edward did was once again, let his anger get out of hand.
Bella still hasn't gained her weight back, and just came from an emotional time with Charlie. I'm surprised she did not leave, feeling rejected and abandended by Edward.I hope that Edward has to deal with the emotional and physical impact his words and behavior cause in Bella. He is suppose to take care of her, he is caring about his feelings more.
If Edward does not have consequences for the emotional pain he has put Bella through, I will, for the first time, be so disappointed in this story. Edward should not be able to cause Bella so much pain. I do not understand why this is neccessary. Isn't time bella gets an emtional break? When is she going to reach her breaking point?
I love this story, but hate the funk I will be in all week. Please update ASAP!

And you know that there is no way he is getting away with this - Bella is a strong woman, like most of us are and we don't realize the depth of our strength until it is tested. And then the most amazing thing happens, we just get stronger...and so will she.

I love this story!! I'm so glad Alice apoligized. The only thing I do not like/understand is how Edward can get release but Bella can't. SShouldn't he be more supportive and wait for her? And then tto get her right to the edge in the playroom and then make her wait for two days. I think it is cruel. If he wanted to test her control, couldn't he have done the same thing on Friday and then et her cum? And spanking her so hard that she has discomfort 24 hours later??? This is why I'm not a sub...I just think Dom's always take it to far. Although with Domward...lol

thank you for your comments and review - now on this whole D/s thing. No it's not fair but he is the Dominant - and she is the submissive. He doesn't have to deny himself anything - it is for Bella to control herself and he controls her orgasms so he says no and she pleasures him. But remember = she wants to bring him joy and she wants to 'service' him. She submits to him without thinking of her own climax.

I loved, loved, loved Bella's time with Charlie. It was so sweet and healing.
I think that most of Bella's punishment was appropriate. I think the no talking, no dinner with Jazz and Alice, having to be by herself and the shaving everyday is appropriate. Although I thought punishments were suppose to be over and done with. She corrected her behavior as soon as she was aware of what she was doing and she told him. Why doesn't that count?
I know I will be in the minority, but Bella's spanking was way too harsh. If she is so thin, her butt does not have the padding to take 30 blows. Edward says he is not like Jacob but he leaves bruises on her butt. He can see bruises and he is going to give her 20 more tommorrow and 15 the next day? How is that not abuse?
I think Edward is a hypocrite. He tells her that she is only thinking of herself (I,I,I) but then he talks about it's his body and he was upset. Is he not thinking of his feelings and anger? Really it takes 65 blows to teach Bella? 20 would not do it? How about not letting her o for 2 weeks? If she deprives her body in one way, he will deprive it another? Why does it have to include violence?
She yellows and wants to be alone and he goes in and forces her to talk with the threat of more violence? I never understand why characters do not safeword during punishments. Why should it be okay that he hurts her so much? Shouldn't she be saying that she does not think she can handle any more hits?
This part of the story really bothers me and stays with me. 20 spanks I can handle 65 not so much. And now I have to wait 2 weeks to see if she recovers okay. Yikes! ;-) I love this story so much I am actually upset with Edward and feeling protective of Bella. Fantastic writing!!!! I hope this story goes on forever!

Hey TT,
First of all thank you so much for your comments and review. Now, that being said, I need to defend our Dom that seems to have put away his training wings. Edward chose to use the hairbrush because of the fact that it stings like a bitch but doesn't leave damage. Take your hairbrush - yes, this is your homework - hopefully it is a flat brush and not a round one! now raise your hand to about 45 degrees (not over your head!!) and hit it down on your ass or thigh (please don't do this in front of your husband - he will ban you from ever reading ff again!!).
What you will notice is that it stings, but the real pain comes in to the subsequent spankings going over the same spot. Edward also knew that. It's not like you have to beat the crap out of someone to inflict pain.The bruises are not black and blue ones, The skin is red and raised, but there are no broken blood vessels, so these will fade in about 4-6 hours. Also, the mental state of mind had a lot to do with it. Knowing that you are going to get punished makes you anticipate the pain more than if you get one without warning.
Remember TT, Edward will check her bottom regularly and the angry red marks will fade during the day - I promise that we will pick up the rest of the weekend so that you can see that Bella is going to be okay. Edward wants Bella to remember THIS PUNISHMENT so that she will never forget to take care of herself again. You know how he worries about her and how much he loves her and he would never hit her in anger or just to be cruel. Yes she yellowed and he respected that, but he only forced her to talk because he knew that she would be berating HERSELF and he wouldn't let that happen either!
Believe it or not, I spent a LOT of time finding out how much is too much when it came to spankings and punishment and it took me a long time to come up with the number and the right implement to use. - I hope this helps, babe. see you soon.

Bella stood, drenched head to toe, in the middle of her front lawn. Hot tears streamed down her face as the chilly rain pelted her skin. Her mouth was open slightly in shock, as she gazed down with wide eyes at the man she loved more than life itself. Edward's hopeful, joyous face grinned up at her from his stance on one knee. The ring held in his hand was a single brilliant diamond that was simple, yet elegant.
"Isabella Swan, I have been captivated by you since the moment I first laid eyes on you. That love only grew and expanded as I got to know you and saw first hand what a wonderful mother you are to our son. Forever could never be long enough for me, to feel like I've had long enough with you. Marry me?"
She covered her mouth and let out a sob, before throwing her arms around him and shouting, "Yes!"
They fell together, a mass a limbs and lips, their hearts beating both beating wildly. He pulled away slightly and pushed a lock of rain-saturated hair from her face.
"Let's go inside, please. I don't want you to catch a cold."
When they stood, his eyes were drawn to her white shirt, now completely plastered against her bare breasts, her nipples hard and straining against the fabric. I love this story!
This is where I always have problems with BDSM stories. Punishments seem so emotionally cruel to me. Edward's punishment seemed too extreme. She already suffers from low self esteem. Does he think this is going to help build a relationship with her? Yikes! I have such an uneasy feeling now. Why do punishments have to go on for days? Why could he not have comforted her at the end of the night? Making her cry was not enough? He needs her in more distress...for a longer period of time? How is she not to completely shut herself off from him now that she is feeling worthless? Uhhhhh! lol I hope Thursday we see how they move past this.

I love this story, but have not loved the last few chapters. Definately do not love the on going punishment. I think it is cruel for him to want her to service him right now. It is a continued slap in the face. If she has to go without, he could be supportive and go without too. I agree she needed punishment, but this still seems cruel.

I understand your concerns about the punishment. All I can say is that had Bella been caned the marks on her ass would have remained for days and she would have not been able to sit without a reminder. What Edward did is no differant, and as for Him denying himself, well it was Bella who dropped to her knees knowing that he was going to pull away and Edward is not the one being punished, Besides if he ignored her sexually how could he stress that fact that he was not going to finish in her mouth until her eating was better? I LOVE, LOVE this story and loved th first half of this chapter but jeez, can't Edward give Bella a few days without some emotioal test. I was frowning reading the last part of the trip. Is he going to be a loving Dom or an asshole one? Right now I'm thinking asshole one. How nice of him to be proud of her while she spent an hour going through a physical and emotional ringer. Can't he give her a break. I LOVE Edward, but he is starting to make me doubt whether he is a good fit for this Bella. Does he not get what she has been through? Why does he have to push her so much...the gels, nipple band, BFF etc. Can't she ever just serve him without the emotional and physical BS? Can't wait to hear Edwards side!

The exercise was one of control and dependancy...remember when she used the ice on her nips and he said 'why didn't you yellow?' ...he wants her to yellow...alot..so that she can realize that she can depend on him, But she is strong willed and fights it off as long as she can by herself...So that was the main reason for the exercise on the way home aside from the fact that he needed her to work on her control, because he has plans for later and she is going to need to be prepared (( there I told you more then I should have)) ok ...Thanks for reading and leaving a comment, i have a teaser for you...lml
When I got back to Bella she was half awake thanks to Seth’s persistence, I sat on the edge of the couch looking down at her.
“Hey” my fingers ran along the line of her jaw.

Okay, I thought I would be madder at Edward.
I got why he was rude to her in the bedroom. I thought it was in response to something his brothers said in the car. As a Dom that is his right I guess.
I am not thrilled that he did not give her any aftercare when they got back. Maybe a bath and a massage for her stressed muscles? He should have thought they needed to talk through what happened in the car and not invite people to dinner, especially since Leah was being a bitch! Hopefully, when she gets her reward, he can take care of her a little better!
In answer to your questions, using the term slut...no big deal. It's not bothering her, so whatever. Conversation with Jake, a good clearing of the air. Dressing Edward, hot; dancing and orgasming...even hotter!

Updating has trickled down to almost non exsistent. This used to be one of my favorites but it is hard for me to keep track of whats happening. It seems like they were on vacation for several months. I don't say this to be mean but concerned. I truly hope everything is okay and the diamond is shining brightly again. :-) I miss this story and love the characters.

It has been taking me longer to get chapters up, i would like to have one every week and here of laetly it is taking 10 days or so, the main story has been slow in updates due to the rather long detailed OT's that I've done. But a new chapter should be up in a day or so and I don't believe there are any more OT's that will occur until the end of the story...so hopefully i should be back on track with a post every week or at least every week...or 10 days at the most ((M is very busy and it's taking her longer to proof))...thanks for the inquiry and for your concern, and like I said, the new chapter should be up by Wednesday...louise

I'm so disappointed that yet another story seems to be abandoned. After 2 years and with only "a couple" of chapters to go. Why do writers do this? I love this story and hope someone will finish this. What a shame the author doesn't care about all the readers she is disappointing .
