He needs to get his head out of his ass and start looking at Bella as an actual person though an being nice to her, that's all. Hubs is 12 years older than me btw, just thought I'd throw that in.
Absolutly loving jake and Renee. Can't wait for the next chapter. Hopefully they will start talking to each other nicely like good little boys and girls...lol

I have to agree with you. I don't like reading fics where Edward ISN'T all about Bella, but I thought this was a natural progression for him. He hit bottom in this chapter, and that date was his way of stepping back into his life again. The Jake and Renee thing is fun to write. Glad you like it, too!

I thought that Emmett might have said something to Edward when they were together about jake and that's why Edward finally asked Bella to spend some time with him but nope. Oh well, it will come, at the BBQ, right? Can't wait and I'm glad to see Edward understand that age is just a number and go through experiences at any age. Great chapter, they are finally moving forward ;)

It's been my experience, that when it comes to attraction with an older/younger person, there is always some trepidation or insecurities. That's really his only issue. As he gets to know Bella, the anxiety is lessening. You'll love the next chapter :) (I hope!) See you Thursday!
