Am British, used to work full time for a legal firm and am now divorced from both ex-husband and job. Yay, freedom!
Am heading towards a BIG birthday and fully intend to grow older disgracefully. Am a rock chick, but also a huge romantic. Sadly my OH was never romantic at all, not one jot - enough said. Pah! However, my current partner is my souomate and is HUGELY romantic. We love each other to bits, so am living the dream now lol.
Long-time writer of short stories and poems for myself, but had not put anything out there in the wider public domain until I'd seen Twilight at least a dozen times. Then the obsession kicked in!
NOTE: My stories on here first appeared on Fanfiction.net but I have migrated them here because of the adult content. Loving Edward is now also being loaded upon Twilighted.net (under the name of Sammicat15 - I did try & get Cullenfest, but don't ask!!), although it will take a little while longer to bring it up to date!
Am totally into the world of Twilight and inevitably all things Rob & Peter. I won't embarrass myself by admitting how many times I've actually seen Twilight but it numbers well over 100 times. New Moon is getting on for 50 times. Eclipse the same. I stopped reading the books after the 13th consecutive rotation of them and got into writing about the characters to fill that need and it has been a total blast and very fulfilling. My future challenge will be creating a new vampire world to inhabit, maybe even a cross-over world with the Cullens.
Have always been intrigued by vampires and their lore and am loving all the films and TV series devoted to them. Also love anything supernatural like ghosts, people with psychic or super powers.
I have rheumatoid arthritis, osteo & fibromyalgia, so writing at a keyboard is probably the worst hobby I could have lol. If I could have a power, it would be telekinesis. With the RA, plus fibromyalgia, am in pain every day, so the ability to move items towards me, rather me have to go to them, would be totally wild!
Am a people-watcher and observer of the human condition. My stories tend to focus on love/loss, the intense emotions of grief/angst/need. I will always champion the underdog fighting for justice or triumphing through adversity. I try to balance dark and light - after all you can't have one without the other!
However, underneath everything, I believe that love conquers all. If you find love, cherish it, hold it, never take it for granted, because you have something wonderful in your hands.
Am a musical animal like Edward but no longer play an instrument. Can't get my fingers around the fretboards of the guitars upstairs anymore. Sigh... I listen to rock, blues, contemporary and classical music constantly - have eclectic tastes and enjoy gigs when I can get to them. Freedom is having a CD on in the car and heading out on the highway - preferably not on the crowded roads of the UK though! Have visited the US a fair bit, but what's with the 55mph limits??
Am totally into felines and have several prowling around at home. Was a volunteer for a cat rescue organisation for 15 years. I shall be having a stern word with Edward about his dietary preferences when I see him!

I decided to intervene before I ended up getting peed on. ......I then looped my arms through theirs and with a little tug I led them down the corridor back to ICU, looking much like a fucked up Dorothy leading the Copper Man and the World's Sexiest Scarecrow. Maybe we could get back to Kansas after all.
I simply loved those two paragraphs and the way you weave high emotion with whipcrack dry humour like that.

Thank you so much for sharing this story with us. It has been tremendous. I think it's a huge oversight that AFITR has not won any awards :( but please don't let that stop you from writing.
I have loved this story from the start. As an amateur writer I know that things often take on a life of their own and will go their own route, but that's the beauty of writing and the wonder of the imagination.
There were things I might have picked you up on in this story re. use of Edwardian language but all in all, it doesn't matter, because your storytelling was so spot on. You've done a great job. Am looking forward to the epilogue and any outtakes that hive off the story. Bring it on!
Btw, I watched the original Twilight film over 150 times when it first came out. I read the books at least 20 times. Was besotted with it, lived and breathed it for a year. I stayed up nights to write my stories. Then it stopped. I haven't watched anything Twi related in months. My take on the Cullens has changed so much with all the fanfic I've read. My other half doesn't understand it. Yet! So, with it being November again, yesterday I got the BD book out to re-read (and hopefully break my writer's block on my own BD story). This morning I got the Twilight DVD out and watched it. Am about to watch NM again. I'm hoping to persuade my other half to take me to see Breaking Dawn next week, by which time I'll have re-read the book. How did we ever exist without the Cullens in our lives pre-2007 lol???
