I thought it was a tattoo based on the plane noise. What's written suits those fuckers minds, but poor Bella... What a way to feel cheap!
I think what's going on with Bella, besides the shock, is that she might be feeling disgusted with it all and that Edward feels the same, reason why he decided to not even share the bed with her... She probably doesn't think that he's actually freaking out of worry bout her and only her...
