She stopped for a minute and tried to think clearly. What would Jack most want to see in this store?

Bella pocketed her iPhone and her hands curled into fists. The anger that she had experienced minutes earlier paled in comparison to the rage that coursed through her. The proof that James was a part of Jack's abandonment was black and white in front of her face. She fully planned on marching back into that office and tearing a new asshole into anyone who dared to get in her way. When the elevator reached the final floor, she was alone.
The doors opened and before she could step out, she found herself once again face to face with James Brooks. His eye widened in shock and her fist flew without thought. He swiftly caught her hand and pushed her back into the elevator with his body weight. "
What the hell are you doing?" he hissed angrily.
"You- you-" she stuttered. "You piece of shit! I'm not leaving here until I talk to Edward. I know who you are and what you did to Jack. You're a miserable excuse for a human being!" she shouted in her fury.
Quicker than she could blink, one of his forearms was pressed against her throat menacingly while the other hand gripped her by the hair.
"You couldn't just leave, could you?" he ground out. "No, you had to be Miss High-And-Mighty. From the first moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you'd be a challenge."

Phew....I am surprised. Edward came from a loving home which is usually an indicator that he would want those things as well. Frankly, the reasonable thing to do would to break up if their priorities stay that way. I think there is a time in your life in which you just can't wait anymore and trust that *things will somehow sort themselves out*. You have to decide what is more important - the love or the kids, the house, the white picket fence. I see that he doesn't want to hold her back, which is good - so the decision is up to her. I don't believe either one can/will magically change their mind - but honestly, that would really be a downer for my mood if she ended up with Jacob in this! I also don't really want it to become a story where she gets pregnant by accident und suddenly he's all over the moon about it...Hmm...that said - it's still a great story and I trust you for now ;)

I do remember you saying several chapters ago that you hoped there wasn't an "oops" in the sotry. I wanted to let you know that this part of the story was planned way back when, but I can promise you one thing (without giving much away) Edward isn't just going to wake up, jump up and down and get excited about the baby. He's not going to change his mind like that, espically not over night. Edward does however love Bella and doesn't want to let her go. We'll see what happens. I do hope that you continue to read and enjoy the story.

That child is her life now - so if he doesn't want to hear about it, he shouldn't waste her time and hurt her even more. Stupid boy.

Sorry to see Charlie gone, I loved that family (minus Jane, maybe). Couldn't you have killed off her instead? Just a suggestion - but maybe Jane may turn out to be the one who makes Edward see reason...we'll see...

Hi and thanks for reading and reviewing. Edward will pop up in the next chapter and see Bella with her belly and all. We'll see what happens then. I love Charlie too and he is the one who had to be the goner because he was building a relationship with Bella. They were becoming close, and that's why she is upsesst over it. She has become close to Charlie and Renee because of the baby. Jane just wouldn't of had the same effect.
The trip to Forks will be eventful. I'm working on the next chapter as we speak.

Oh jeez...I had actually to go back because I wasn't sure if E had slept with Tanya. Apparently he didn't because if Tanya now ended up pregnant by E as well, that would have been a bit over the top. How many by accident babies can one man have...yeah, don't answser that question ;).

i Liked the review from bellas point of view from their journey for the prolougue and i am looking forward to see the story unfold. however, as a native german i believe that we use different words for commanding the dog. for example, find is 'Such!' (imperative of suchen which means to search instead of finden which means to find) whereas die Erfindung actually is a noun meaning invention (never said that the german language makes sense ;) ). attack would be translated into 'Fass!' (imperative of fassen) and down into Platz! (short for Platz nehmen which means take a seat). Let me know if you'd like some help on the German and thank you for sharing!
