I don't usually do reveiws but felt I had to on this one - whatever happened to keeping their separation as quick as possible [Author's response to reveiws 17th July]. We have  had five chapters since they left the island, approx four to go and only two/three of those will be B/E. [correct me if I'm wrong - please,please correct me I want to be wrong!] Your summary makes it sound like a B/E story but it doesn't seem like it at the moment - actually haven't read the last couple of chapters properly just skimmed through - let me know when B/E are back and so will I be.PS sorry about the rant but for personal reasons I get a bit touchy when pregnant women are abandoned. which by the way why aren't Carlisle/Esme/Charlie, even Emmet/Rosalie demanding that Edward face up to his responsibilities?  

Deceit is never a good thing in a relationship. Edward is doing this to protect his children but I know from experience that whatever happens Rosalie and possibly Jasper will be hurt (Alice is a little young) by this, more so by the fact that their father has lied to and deceived them than by the reality of Edward and Bella's relationship. He seems to be trying to protect himself more than anything.

Sorry but this chapter didn't make a lot of sense to me - he doesn't want to hide her away but he does, he sees a future for them but he doesn't .

Sorry (again) but Edward came across as a complete son of a bitch in this chapter he wants everything  but on his own terms. He wants people to know, but only those he chooses to tell and only if Bella butters them up first, presumably to save himself from the brunt of their reaction. What happens when somebody, one of Rosalie's friends for example, sees them and inadvertently spills the beans. He wants sex with Bella, again only on his terms. 

Bella is right - he really isn't ready for this, for any relationship and it is about time she kicked his sorry ass into touch before he hurts her any more than he already has.

"I need to make plans for how we will work this out?" Shouldn't that be WE need to make plans? Or is Edward the only person in this "relationship"?

You write extremely well and I really thought that this story was going to be different, 

but here we go again -first we have the restraints, next stop the playroom? Same old same old - exactly what is it that is different?

I am disappointed this chapter did not address Edward's treatment of Bella in the last chapter - he was clearly uncomfortable with what he was doing I am not so sure he was actually enjoying it when he had to turn off his feelings in order to hit her (yes spanking is hitting and her response was understandable - spanking stimulates the nerves responsible for arousal - it is purely a physical response) I would have liked a explanation of his reasons after he keeps professing his respect for her and how he would never treat her like her previous  boyfriends yet he goes on to use and abuse her apparently against his better judgement or is it that really underneath it all he is no better than the rest of them??

I would be grateful if next there is BDSM activity, and yes it was that, you would give a clearer warning, thank you . Apart from that particular chapter I have enjoyed this story immensely.

We'll done Mama Bear - I think she could be just the one to give Edward the spanking he deserves!!

I hope that he has learned his lesson and  Bella will be able to decide her own future from now on.

Anthony is coming back - why?? Just as Edward seems to be making progress with Bella he brings Anthony back, that seems a bit cruel, not sure I think much of Edward/Anthony. Hoping now that he gets his comeuppance one day, it will serve him right if Bella finds somebody else and I'm kind of hoping she does at the moment.
