yes she is a little like a ping pong ball hehe, but she is a little confuffled at the moment, and she does have a wee bit too much patients, but when you love someone you kinda do have patients xxx

:) I'm glad you liked it!  Thank you.  There are no other Cullen's to meet, I'm afraid.  Alice & Rose are human friends of Bella.  Jasper is Rose's brother that Alice has a crush on but he's not in the story.  Emmett was the gay guy checking out Edward in chapter 1 and Esme & Carlisle are long dead :)  So, this is really and truly just an E&B story.  There may be some other familiar names that appear though!

Hi!  Thanks for reading.  Here is your preview:

“I can’t see anything past you, dog,” Alice said condescendingly to Jacob.  Jacob just growled at her.  I pinched the bridge of my nose.  We were supposed to be finding Bella and they could not stop fighting. 

“Stop,” I said.  They looked at me.  “Your constant bickering is not helping in the least to find Bella and Jasper.  We need to work together.  If you can’t do that,” I said looking at the wolf in front of me, “then you will have to leave.”

Okay, Jacob’s thoughts said.  I sighed.  I couldn’t believe we had the wolves helping us.  You know Jacob is in love with her.  He probably figures that if he can find her before you do, he can prove to be the better competitor for her affections.  I’m sure he would love to fight me, to fight all of us, but that would have to come later.  Right now, the woman I loved more than anything was missing and my backstabbing brother had her. 

When we find her, I will make that slut pay for stealing Jazz.  I growled at Alice.  She turned to me, eyes wide.  She hadn’t meant for that thought to slip out.  “I’m sorry, Edward.”  I narrowed my eyes at her.  “Bella is not a slut.  She had a rocky past, yes, but that does not make her a bad person.  And I don’t know what happened that made Jasper betray us like this, but there has to be an explanation.  He loved you, Alice.  He was loyal to the family.  Why would he suddenly turn?”

She shrugged.  “It doesn’t surprise me, Edward.  I mean, really, she slept with that…thing,” she pointed at Jacob.  He growled again.  “I’m surprised she didn’t go after the whole family as soon as we came back.  You know, in retaliation?”

I lunged at Alice and knocked her to the ground.  She kicked me off and jumped up.  I started to run at her and she held her hand up.  “You see?  This is what she wants, what Jazz wants.  They want us fighting so that we won’t find them.”  I stopped.  It made sense.  Running my hand through my hair, I looked down at the ground.

“I’m sorry, Alice.”

She smiled.  “I’m sorry, too.  I shouldn’t be blaming Bella, my sister, for Jazz’s actions.  He’s perfectly capable of saying ‘no.’”

I still had a hard time believing that she was gone and that Jasper was responsible.  Why would he do it?  He was a Cullen as much as the rest of us.  Why would he betray those that loved him?  It made no sense!

As if Jacob could hear me, his thoughts invaded my mind.  Maybe he doesn’t know you’re alive.  Maybe he thinks you’re dead and he feels like he is the only one who can protect Bella.  I hadn’t thought about that.

“That’s a good point, Jacob,” I said patting his furry head.  He licked my hand.  I laughed.

“What’s a good point?” Alice asked.  I explained what Jacob was thinking.  She cocked her head to the side for a moment in thought.  “That would make sense.  But why would he suddenly want to sleep with her?  Or her with him?  They have never shown interest like that before.  Besides,” she stopped for a second and glanced at Jacob.  “You and I both know he wasn’t very good with his control.”

It was true.  The whole reason I had left in the first place was because Jazz had tried attacking her at her birthday party when she got a paper cut.  Could he really have gained that much control?

“Stranger things have happened,” I said.

We came upon a run-down building that Alice had seen in a vision.  I took a deep breath and froze.

“Smell that?” I asked, turning to her.  Her nose wrinkled.  “Yes.  Like a dying vampire.”

Suddenly we heard maniacal laughter.  Victoria, I thought.  We ran towards the front door, Jacob breaking away and heading for the back.

It was unlocked.  We walked in and were assaulted by two scents.  One was definitely Victoria.  The other was still that dying vampire smell.  We followed it until we found some steps leading to a basement.  There was a steel door at the bottom. 

I charged the door.  It didn’t budge.  I charged again.  Nothing.  After the fourth time, the door fell off.  I somersaulted across it and immediately sprang into my crouching position.  It was the one used when on the defense. 

Alice drew in a sharp breath.  I followed her gaze.  My jaw dropped when I saw it.   

Thank you for the review.  I think I may have misled some of the readers...there will be happier times on the horizon.  Peter and Bella will get there sexy times...it will just take some chapters to get there.  Stay tuned!

Define frequent...my schedule right now is once a week.  Every Sunday...although I had some great reviews over on ff.net so I decided to update today instead.  I have ten chapters completed so until we reach that it should be once a week.

The buzzer on her intercom sounded and Bella grabbed her keys, opting to just meet Michael downstairs.  When she opened the door, she was surprised, she had expected him to be dumpy or balding or something, but he was in fact a very nice looking man. He had short, cropped blond hair and a charming smile. Surely an evening with this man wouldn’t be too bad, Bella mused.

“You look,” he paused, searching for the right word, “nice.”

Bella made an effort not to blanch at his lackluster compliment. Bella knew her dress wasn’t the most up to date style, but she was doing him a favor.  She tugged once more at the top of the dress and regretted it instantly because it brought Michael’s attention to her bust line. He looked away quickly but not before she noticed his disappointed face.

“Thanks,” she replied as she followed him into the car.

She turned to leave and felt him close behind. Wordlessly, she faced him and held up her hand. She took a few steps backwards, and once she was sure he would stay, she spun and walked into the woods. Needing to put a little distance between them, she broke into a light jog, and followed the path she knew led to the water.

Once she hit the bank, she slowed down, tears falling from her eyes. She reached up and smeared the wetness, and when she caught a movement out of the corner of her eye, she startled. The russet wolf walked up and sat down in front of her, looking at her sadly.

I feel like a broken record, but you’ve all been so amazing, thank you!

Here is your teaser.

Bella nearly turned around but Edward’s anxiety seemed to drop a little once they reached the open grassy area.  They’d kept their hands locked together the entire walk, but once the open space was in front of him, he let go of it and took off running. A couple people took notice of him, not because it was that odd to see a man running through the opening, but because he had dropped down onto his hands to do it, galloping like a wild horse. Or in this case, a wolf.

Bella took off after him, not shouting out as to not draw any more attention to the odd situation.  She found it surprising that she couldn’t catch up to Edward on her feet, just assuming there was no way he could run faster than her that way.  He turned abruptly and Bella skidded to a stop as he approached her.

“You’re very fast,” she said, huffing.

Edward made a noise Bella could only classify as laughing, and she scowled at him. “Oh you think it’s funny to make me chase after you?”

Thank you for hoping I have a safe move. I know I need some free time to get settled and make new friends before I, once again, become absorbed in the world of FanFic :P Emmett you can't help but love and King Edward you can't help but want to slap him silly.
