OK, so Aro is a perv, but maybe just for young innocent girls. That's why he is the only man to touch and the girls until they are married and he takes their virginity. After that, he doesn't care. He's a peadophile, but for girls who just started puberty. Well, there's the answer to whether Aro really does want to do sexual things to Bella for his pleasure. Worse yet, this sexual abuse doesn't start on her wedding night, that's when it ends, which means she's been groomed this whole time.

I really hope Esme and Carlisle are able to thwart these plans somehow. What's up with the drugs? Probably some kind of fertility treatment. How has Carlisle failed Aro before? Tanya or some other girl's lack of pregnancy? And now Alice is going to fall to Aro! Ewww.

Thanks for the insight into Esme's thoughts, feelings and fears!  RE your a/n, there are cults out there who prey on those who are lost, insecure and/or looking for a way or something to belong to.  These so called leaders prey on the weak and that's what gets them off and justifies their actions in their minds.

Your "crazy women" have done an excellent job in portraying what the inner workings of a "cult" may be like.  An outsider or reader like us have an easy time to make judgements as we aren't living it but if you are in a cult like this and basically brainwashed, it's hard to differentiate between realities.

poor elizabeth(bella). I am glad she has esme. so it seems at one time esme was the chosen one. now it is elizabeth. i am hoping but don't know how she can and will protect elizabeth. but hopefull if elizabeth does all that is asked and she stays out of the way maybe aro won't bother her. but i doubt that will happen. seems aro has it in for elizabeth. but really he is going against all that he teaches. at first he gave himself lashings for having thoughts about bella. what is the difference now. it seems his urges have increased. oh my the force be with you bella. stay close to esme. i hope carlisle isn't mad at esme for what she is sharing with him.
