My favorite dynamic duo of fanfiction, thanks for another chapter! I truly do appreciate all the work you put into writing for us all. You keep us all entertained with your originality. You may borrow the characters but the universe in which they exist is all your own.
Now, I don't know if it was intended to be this way or if it was coincidental. This chapter, to me anyway, parallels the chapter in Eclipse when the Cullens and the wolves were preparing to fight Victoria and her new borns. Edward stays with Bella during the fight. In this chapter, Edward stays behind with Bella and Vicki while the others go to set a trap at Edward's house. Now, we know how that turned out in Eclipse, so will Edward and the ladies be ambushed by James and or Laurant while the others are at his house? We all know James is going to track Vicki with that blasted chip he injected her with.

love the story and in your earlier authors note you mentioned it being really long and i just want to let you know with as wonderful as this story is 69 chapters dont seem that long at all. only when the story drags does it feel long so I want to say congrats to keeping this story exciting and interesting. (at least to me anyway =] ) Anxiously awaiting the next chapter.....

This chapter was absolutely jam-packed full of new information. My brain is swimming as i try and get my head around it all.
I never expected Laurent to be the vicious character he has turned out to be. He seems to be such a coward, and quite flaky, so for him to have done this with another girl before Bella, and to have all of this planned so far in advance, is a little bit of a shock and quite scary.
I think at this point it is important to analyse Laurent's relationship with James. From previous encounters, i would hazzard to guess that Laurent is a bit freightened by James. Jacob seemed to think that James was a bit of a loose cannon, and just crazy, but Laurent's fear reaffirms for me assumptions i have made previously - that James is a very powerful individual.
I am also very worried that the trap is being set at Edward's house, when i am sure (now that i remember) that James will just track Victoria, the lead himself straight to the cabin. Hopefully Edward has a gun stashed somewhere.
And what about Esme? Where is she in all of this?
Thankyou for the update. The story is really racing along now, and it is more entertaining than ever! I eagerly await your next installment...

Crap, crap, crap!!!! Ok, so now Jasper, Alice and Jacob are leaving to go to Edward's house, but that isn't where James is going!! Laurent is a sick MF too. I thought James was bad. I had a feeling Jacob was undercover too. I'm scared for Bella right now, cause Victoria is upstairs, alone, with that damn chip in her and James is on the loose. I think he will show up soon. Great chapter, I'm on the edge of my seat awaiting the next one!

Shocked to see what Jacob's real story is now. But glad to see he will be on their side to help keep Bella safe. I have a feeling they are setting up the trap in the wrong place but I guess time will only tell. Now I can't wait for the next update and see what will happen with Carlisle when he hears more of the story about what was slipping by him in his school. Great story as always.
