I am happy that you like it so much. Out of all my stories, it is my personal favorite. There's just something about it and it's dear to my heart Maybe it's because I took so much crap about Jasper's character in the beginning chapters, even when he showed a softer side, I still got crap. LOL Kinda made me a bit protective of my Prince. LOL Ridiculous, I know, and probably way more than you wanted to know. :-)
Anyhow, I said all that to let you know that I pay special attention to this one and won't ever abandon it. I also try to update it regularly and often. I am working on the next chapter today as a matter of fact. A chapter, if I'm left alone, usually takes me a day. I will also say that I have two boys still at home (12 & 14) who like to randomly try to kill each other. Such things tend to cut into writing time. lmao

I went a bit of a different direction with Peter's usual power. Since he and Jasper are identical twins, I made his power somewhat similar to Jasper's, however, he can only manipulate emotions to be more positive in nature. In other words, he can make people feel happiness, but he cannot make them feel lust or anger or any other emotion. He can, however, detect emotions from the entire spectrum, such as Carlisle's hate for Jasper.

Is Jasper changing her??? /evil grin/ That is a good question! Alright, alright.......I'll let ya off the hook. No, but he did mark her as his mate. Now, before you ask, yes he is venomous. But in my wonderful alternate universe, he can choose to inject it or not. Somewhere in his being, he knew that this was not the time to change her, but mark HIS territory? Oh hell yes he did.
Now, as far as Aro reading Alice and Edward? Let's just say it won't be necessary. Due to what just happened with Bella, Jasper now has a good idea who to watch out for and he can feel deceit. He's no blind fool. I can't stand it in stories where a character is supposed to have certain attributes and then they don't use them and wind up being duped or taken advantage of! I find that frustrating as hell as a reader, and I just won't do it here. I can have plenty of fun in this fic without making any of our kick ass characters ignorant or stupid. :-)

I really enjoyed reading up to this point. I can't wait to see what you have in stored for each character. Must say though I wanted to punch Carlisle several times throughout the story. You are quite right! The boys are very different. Jasper was always the protector/provider of the two. That's why he's having a time accepting that his brother just embraces these people that captured him.

When he was taken by the Cullens he said nothing about him, but even more so, he spent years living in Italy as a Prince while his brother lived in squaler in the woods! Hi! I'm very happy that you're enjoying the story. There is so much coming up in the story and it's so young yet! I find myself getting impatient to see certain things come to pass too. But I have to calm down and take my time setting it all up while (Hopefully) conveying all the different aspects of each characters personality. I know that Jasper seems a bit puffed up and princely right now, but he really does love his brother. And they had promised each other that they wouldn't tell about the other if one of them was ever caught, so even though Jasper missed his brother dearly, he kept his promise.
