Aww edward finally is starting to realize how much bella means to him, and that he could never kill her (even though he has thought it many times, even putting the gun to her head). Maybe bella knowing she is his weakness will make her not as afraid when he gets angry. They may be doing things backwards (or the traditional way if you think about arranged marriages back in the day and some cultures) with marriage 1st then getting to know each other.....but edward wanting and being happy to sleep anywher as long as the wife is next to him shows his feelings even though hes barely figuring it out. Some would say yes, some no. She took a job. A job to support her, feed her and possibly put her through college.
