Okay I figured Bella’s anger was a summoning for Lucifer so that fits. Don’t hate me folks but I think everyone is overreacting slightly to Carsile. NOT Bella of course but her anger and saddness as Esme mentioned was necessary to break through he final wall and yes summon this war that must happen so she can be tested by Lucifer and then become an angel with Edward or live out life with many children on earth with him as human. Either way HEA. Also, Carsile didn’t display feelings he should have but he did not drop the ball just on her care his betters did. He just really sucks at delivering shitty news.

So I can see the story weaving even though you say you’re blocked. Edward was a rising star angel then Lucifer used him, tricked him to kick off one of the worst times in our history. Bella born to a drug addicted whore and fatherless endures atrocities no one should as a child or as a woman but she still loves and gives to children. They are the perfect match to bring about a time of peace through their charges. Edward with the bruised and broken and Bella with children. No wonder Lucifer wants to destroy them both...fear. Also, I just know Bella’s father is important otherwise someone would have mentioned him...right?blah blah blah I leave hype storytelling to you ;-)
