OMG, she's pregnant.  I have a feeling if she is and she didn't tell Edward that it will crush him if he finds out.  I understand why she believes Edward needs to stay and work on forgiveness.  The points made were very valid.  I think Edward needs to take the time without Bella to work on himself.  The whole courting Sarah thing doesn't even need to come into play.  Edward needs to learn how to cope on his own and I have a feelng something with Sarah would end as badly as it did with Emily.

I know I just read two chapters because you are awesome and posted both but I'm dying to know if I'm right about Bella being pregnant.  I hope you can update sooner rather than later.

I am reading this and what I like about it is the "insight" into the Amish culture.  I'm assuming you've done some research so although there may be poetic license, I'm guessing most is accurate.  I also like how you've incorporated Edward's past and why and what he is searching for without going overboard.  It's enough to keep us wanting more and each chapter or two, more is revealed, which is great!

I am surprised at the level in which the amish allow their kids to "experiment" before they commit to the lifestyle and the length of time in which to do it.  I always thought they had to remain virgins and had a year to "sow their oats" before coming back to the fold.  Obviously I was wrong.

I'm hoping Charlie gives them his blessing.  Edward and Bella should have a heart to heart on what they both want, where they see this heading and then go to Charlie and explain their feelings for each other.  Leading Jake and others on is cruel and would just make it harder.  I don't think Bella would leave the Amish lifestyle completely but wonder if there's a halfway sort of compromise.

Not crazy, weird or dumb!  I like it...it's reminicent of the Cannabean Betrothal in that it deals with an alternate way of life and it's religion based.  Other than that, no other similiarities.  I like how you explore the lifestyle.  A nice change from all the bdsm stuff out there.  Good job!

OK - getting hotter.  Out of control Edward is something I could get used to!!  I understand his thinking Bella's actions and reactions are based on her need to rebel against the Amish lifestyle but there may be something more.  With all the fanfiction stuff written about these 2 characters; we all feel their need to be together was fated before they were even born.

Looking forward to see how they can meet in the middle. 

So, nice to know she doesn't HAVE to marry Jacob if she stays.  I wonder how Charlie would take it if Edward started courting her properly.  If Edward and Bella being together could mean Charlie keeping Bella and gaining Edward as a son I would think he should see that as a win/win situation.  Of course who knows if Charlie will look at it that way.

Once again, a small piece to the Edward puzzle, but not quite enough.  Was he in a war and suffers from PTSD?  That's what the hints you keep dropping lead me to believe.  Nice little twist there making Edward the one who scarred Emily.

I have a feeling Edward was just being polite to Sarah because that is what he thinks Charlie expects.

*sigh* Sadly I have reached the end of what you have for us thus far.  You write great stories that are rather addicting.  Can't wait for the next update :)

You just keep building up the mystery that is Edward.  Every little thing you let slip through just gets me more interested.

I wonder if Charlie would appreciate Edward sneaking out with Bella knowing that he was trying to protect her.  I would like to think he would.

Since Bella seems to be promised to Jacob if she stays in the Amish community, is that set in stone?  If Edward becomes baptised and Bella wants to stay can she choose?  I'm already completely hooked on this story and want so much more of it.

I'm very interested in this story.  I can't wait to see if Edward can adjust to the simple life and if Bella will remain due to Edward.  There is potential for a great story here, so I hope you continue it.

hope charlie encourages edward to court his daughter at some point.

enjoying the story. Hate to think it really is like that when the young adults start rumspringa. I am clueless to the life of the amish however find it very interesting.
