you know when i started reading this i was stumped and just did not get it but the more i read the more i understand and that's down to you and how you write so thanks, rosalies past is a shocking story made even sadder by the fact that she cannot bear children or has not so far, from rosalies point of view i see why she would resort to what was familiar to edward which is a good version of a polygamists lifestyle it worked for edwards family there was respect for the wives and love, friendship, care and consideration, all the things rose wanted, her version of marriage was not working for them with the mood swings and the effects of her abuse hanging over them, i really felt for her when she entered the library and saw edward with bella, rose has valid concernes about whats going to happen she does not need any turmoil to contend with, but gotta love alice giving hugs and comfort, a great chapter, glad to hear things are settling down as i cant wait top read more thanks tracy

When Rosalie found Bella and Edward embracing I really thought she would explode, she had been stressing so much, and not venting, all the memories from her past. As a sexual abuse survivor she still has some major grieving, and healing, to do; and even though she has Alice and Edward to stand by her, this is a fight she partly needs to face on her own: the simple action of asking for help, for someone's shoulder to cry on, or someone's willing ear to tell them her feelings/thoughts is very difficult for her, and that's one of the first steps in the process. I admire how much she has gone through and still managed to live a healthier life than the hell in which she was brought up.

I have this nagging feeling that neither Alice or Rosalie can have children and Bella would be able to give that to their family. You don't have to answer. I just wanted to put it out there.
Great chapter. I love how Edward is about punishments. He does it as a necessary part of being the head of the family, but he worries so much about Alice and Rosalie and not pushing them too far with each spanking. I'm glad that Edward isn't a sadist.

At this point Alice is the only one thinking Bella will stay.. Plus it is only the sitting room that wasn't finished.
There are no plans right now for Bella joining the family.
She is still doing the article. No matter what may happen this is a story that everyone wants the world to read.

I find this story very entertaining and the subject matter is interesting. I was glad Bella began questioning the DD lifestyle. It is one thing to be an accepting journalist or infatuated with a man, but accepting everything they are telling her without questions is unrealistic. So, thanks for having her be introspective. I would appreciate more of that, Bella is after all, a modern woman.
Also, what happens when Edward misbehaves? No person is perfect or well-behaved all the time. Do the wives have any recourse when Edward is too controlling or he behaves inappropriately?

I would like to see Bella shake things up a bit.
It would be nice if she decided that she doesn't under any circumstance "consent" to being spanked or punished physically in any form.
While that might be okay with Rose and Alice, it just doesn't work for her. She understands why they do it but it isn't for her.
I wonder how the family dynamic would change then?!?! Would they still want her to join their family??!
