The updates always depend on how busy my beta is. I send her the translation of the equivalent of one chapter in French (which becomes 2 chapters in English) every other week, and she returns it to me when she's done with the editing. It's never on a regular basis, no matter if I send her my chapters on a regular schedule. For instance, I sent her chapter 19 and 20 this past week and she went through chapter 19 but she doesn't know when she'll have time to go through chapter 20. It can take a little while before she sends it back to me, but hopefully before Halloween since this next chapter is a little creepy.

Yes, we'll see more of Carlisle later on. I'm so far ahead in my French version... What's interesting in doing a translation is that I get te revisit the characters and I know them better so I can add a few things to make them even more 'consistent'.

There's not much to understand in this story because it's all to be taken lightly. Rose was mad at first because of the way Emmett had acted with Bella and she wanted him to be sorry for it. The simple fact that Emmett would find himself at the mercy of Rosalie and not able to be in control is enough of a vengeance for her, and if he had been a bad lover she wouldn't have given him permission to get his release. But hell, don't you think he deserved to be rewarded after all?

I am sorry I thought I had reviewed this chapter. Yes I liked this chapter better. But again. I think there is not enough action with Bella and Edward. I mean He is supposed to be a slave driver but yet he isn't doing anything to her. I would think he would have shared some of his feelings for her at least to himself or given her a taste of some of the pleasures that he can give. Also I am very surprised that he has not deflowered her yet. I mean she only has a couple days left and I would think he would have saved her from letting the masters do it. Don't worry, he will give her pleasure that she will be willing to receive at some point. However, you may not know that this is only chapter 7 in French (on a total of 25 when the story is complete, 50 in English), so there is still a lot to happen before Edward even realizes he's in love with Bella and doesn't just want/need to tame/train her. Also, even if there are a lot of allusions to some kind of 'training' in this story, if you are actually looking for situations where Edward is doing the kind of things described in The Dominant, The Submissive, The Training or MoTU, you won't because I can't plagiate the ideas used in those fictions, and the context of my story is different anyway. But again, a lot is to come between Bella and Edward. As for the deflowering thing, it's been only 36 hours since Bella arrived in Volterra, and Edward kind of thinks he has at least a week before he introduces Bella to her masters. And part of what keeps the reader in alert is the fact that we don't know if Edward will succeed in saving Bella from the Volturi, so I can't tell you more, unfortunately... thanks again for reading this story.

I'm not sure but I think you refer to chapter 15. Yes, i thought he was going to take it too, she was so ready for him, wasn't she? But as I like to tell my French readers, my characters have a curious habit of deciding for themselves what they want to do and I have to follow their lead... lol
About my next update, I'm starting the translation of the next chapter right away, so I might be able to post it at the end of next week. ;-)

It seems plans are not coming as expected. Bella was there to witness the punishment, but she interrupted it. Edward wanted to make her suffer, but he was forced to change tactics. However the tactics chosen weren't too successful, since Bella reacted rather well to Edward's ministrations. It seems the air is affecting more than just Bella right now.

This was a chapter with plenty of information. Bella is still having a tough time accepting all that she has learned so far. For her it seems just unbelievable that there are men with such power, who go doing their will with no punishment or consequence whatsoever.
Rosalie is aware of their situation, but apparently Alice isn't. What might happen now? Who of these two will be next in meeting Edward?

This story is definitely mostly about Bella and Edward, but the way I divided my chapters, you will not find them fooling around in all the scenes. Next chapter will be all about them, though. But if you expect my characters will be involved just with sex, this is not the right story for you, for I can't stand just writing lemons after lemons after lemons. i love the historic aspect of this story. love Edward's cocky attitude, and Bella's spunkiness. I hate Jacob black in all stories, so I'm hoping he'll get killled or sold away or just have his spirit broken, or tongue cut out ... sorry, I'm not usually violent, but i despise him and don't want him to be a good guy any time.
