He was just being goofy, teasing the guys about the girls buying so much stuff. Edward's 'team' had many, many more bags than the boy's 'team', so they had won. No competition had been implied; Edward was just quite happy about giving the girls a huge shopping spree.

If he has done it because he recognized Edward, he would be left with the costs for the trial and would probably walk away without being arrested. If he isn´t a professional one. And he does not sound like one if he is threatening Edward from the ambulance….. giving away his intentions.

Edward's hands still didn't look great yet from the last time, and he has been careful not to let Bella see much of them since this incident. The music room is a bit dark because Edward prefers it that way, so she missed the new cuts when he was playing piano. Yes, seven weeks is early, but with very high-risk pregnancies, some doctors take every precaution, including early ultrasounds. According to what I found on some pregnancy information sites, there are things that can be seen on very early ultrasounds. I don't understand them; I've never been pregnant, and never will be, but apparently, stuff is there to be seen, and it appears that 6 weeks is the first appearance of the heartbeat. I thought that was cool. And we'll never know what Laurent said; he can be one scary, secretive dude. A lot of stupid lawsuits are filed in America, unfortunately. the robber only recognized Edward after he had already began the robbery; he didn't know who Edward was at first, and didn't think of suing until Edward beat the crap out of him.

hello!! i am new to this. read your story within a day. Love it. every part of it. i know its not needed but very great job on the writting.. its a very interesting story and i cannot wait to see what happens to everyone while there and when they are back to reality (real life)..
throughout the entire story i only had one question in mind..
edward, bella, rose, alice, emette, jasper (etc) were braught there 2 years ago.. some were beaten, raped, treated badly- and now all of a sudden they set this plan to escape? why not when they first gotten there.. why all of a sudden bella gets whipped and edward finally decides to put a plan in motion.
i mean rose was raped! why didnt emette and edward get together and set this plan up? again, im not trying to bash anything... love the story and how its going- its just that, that was on my mind.. and i wanted to know why was that.. if you dont m ind answering. thank you.

Well, Rose was raped right off the bat, but when Emmett was punished with 20 lashes for getting angry about it, it scared the shit out of all of them. Rose never allowed Emmett to know that she was raped again. Eventually, it just became a part of everyday life for her, as awful as it sounds.
Any escape plan was honestly suicidal. If you recall, Edward did come up with a plan before Bella was whipped; he came up with it after James told him all the evil things he had planned for Bella, but hadn't had the chance to implement it. Edward's original plan would have been suicidal, but he was too damn desperate to care. He was only hoping to take out enough guards that the other slaves would overcome what was left of them. He knew that he wouldn't be able to get them all; that he would be killed before then. His original plan only included himself; he would not endanger his friends. Laurent coming to him was a godsend; he modified the original plan to include his friends, because with the proper equipment and weaponry, the risk was minimal, and they would be successful.
And I'm glad you love the story. All the reviews make this process very rewarding.
