People tend to place there own personal hang-ups on things but COME ON PEOPLE...get a grip!! Stop reading it or open your mind and see it from the truest place it's come from. God i've been reading for years and i can say that i have never seen a more supporting, loving, and growing Bella/Edward coupling. Oh Louise Darlin' your Rant was very much needed and understood, well at least by this reader who did take the time to go and read some of the HORRIFYING reviews that were left.  I wasnt sure who I felt worse for YOU or Master and then Pet... well lets just say I had compassion for Pet as I knew her heart was in deep sorrow for knowing that she had not understood in time what she was doing, and I never thought that she didn't trust in her Master, I just didn't fully grasp that she wasnt in pain, so I was someone who thought she should have used Yellow, but not RED... I didn't think she was beyond... I knew it would eventually be a lesson she would come to grasps with..  He is a teacher in every aspect and I truly love how he teaches... strict but with great love, and reverance for what he knows her to be capable of....

I have finally had chance to catch up, I loved the last 4 chapters, and the last two chapters i am so glad i was up to speed, LOL you did great job of getting your point across, she had promised to be submissive but she was topping from bottom pretty much, i guess you could say. I felt so sorry for Edward and then for her. would love to know more about the two eggs LOL

Bella's biggest problem is she is stubborn and is rather bratty. It was the same with her marriage. If she wasn't so stubborn she would have admitted she made a mistake in marrying James. She would have asked her family and friends for help in getting away from him before she was beat to near death.  With Edward, she was so  stubborn she kept the ordeal going. She knew she was sore. She would not say yellow or red. Edward would not be upset with her. He wanted her to say it, but she wouldn't show weakness. They have those words for a reason  and Edward was pushing her to use them. Bella was being bratty wanting to get her way. Edward just wants her to let him take care of her. I hope she will learn this time. She keeps forgetting that Edward knows best.

As always your writing is wonderful. I still do not agree completely with what Edward did. I'm sorry but I think he was too far away. I understand his motives and I understand their relationship but there is one thing that is always bothering me, when she mess up he makes something like this and she, Oh poor silly girl with no brains, undestands that he is right... but he is not always right, he is human after all and he also mess up but... what happens then? he just feel sorry and say "I'm sorry baby" and that's it, she understands and everything is ok but not the other way round.

I do not know why somebody thought it was some kind of rape, I didn't see it like that, it was too humilliating for her from my point of view and that's what I mean when I say that he was wrong but obvously there was not rape in it, that's just ridiculous.

Wow. I feel for Edward. His struggle to teach his girl a fundamental tenet was difficult to watch. His ability to separate Master from lover is commendable. His relief on reading the content of her text was obvious. I hope Isabella now sees his perspective and can use that to surrender more fully to her Master.

I would very much like Alice to support Bella as she needs her friend to do. Alice’s displeasure must wear on Bella.

 Louise, this chapter was one of your very best ever!! I am totally amazed at how you have written this character of Edward. I have told you this before in other reviews, but I'm going to say it again... Your Domward is my favorite of all the ones I have read in fanfic. His determination and patience is so touching. He could talk to Isabella forever about her submission; but I think she can only learn when she reaches these conclusions on her own. Many chapters back when he asked her what her submission to him meant, it took a painful lesson from him to make her realize it meant total and complete surrender. But then she seems to forget this when she doesn't withhold her orgasm because it feels too good. He does take better care of her than she does herself. And he constantly reminds her that he loves her and isn't angry with her. I love this character! And you are a brilliant writer!!! Thank you for this story. It is one I will re-read many times.

I really didn't like this lesson from Edward.  It seemed cruel and abusive, especially considering Bella's history of abuse and letting a man abuse her.  It's not in her make-up to stick up for herself and because she trusts and loves Edward so much, she just lets him take control and wouldn't think about saying "red" or "yellow".  I love this story and for the most part, I love Edward and I have had faith in most things he's done but not this time.  It also bothers me that she will take the blame for this and will believe she deserved what Edward did to her.  It seems that he fell in love with Bella's spunk and independence, yet I fear he is trying his best to change her into a totally dependent and passive person.  I understand that this is part of being a submissive, but she still needs to be herself.  Perhaps I need to read his point of view before passing judgement, but I just don't want Bella to let people walk all over her, especially considering her years of abuse.  She deserves to be happy and cared for and she needs to learn to stick up for herself and never allow anyone to abuse her.  This is still one of my favorite stories and I'm hoping Edward will redeem himself in chapters to come so I can go back to loving and believing in him.

You know I have been a huge fan of this story but this last chapter has been hard to rectify in my mind, I am trying to understand why the severity of this so called lesson. It seems to me that this woman has suffered and been abused enough in her life and for someone who supposidly loves her to treat her in such a manner does not make any sense to me dominant or no dominate. I am hoping that the next chapter can help me understand why he felt a need to abuse her in such a fashion, all in the guise of a lesson.

Ugh. That was really hard for me to read and not get angry. I don't quite understand why Edward couldnt have had a good old fashioned conversation about what she so innocently asked for. It almost felt like he was using sex and orgasms to punish her, and considering her background that's just not cool.

I think you did a wonderful job with this chapter. That was what I was expecting from Edward. Well, not all of it but some of it. Bella should have yellowed, probably even red. With Bellas history (with james) I think he should have come up with another solution to teach her a lesson. Actually Louise, I am going to be a bit of an Edward hater, what else would you expect from me.  I understand there are lessons, and then there are lessons!

Yes Bella should have safeworded, but really did he have to go to the extent that he did.  He seems to like using words, really could he not have explained this to her first and then if it continued he could have gone to this extent. 

He is quick to make sure that Bella talks but I never seem to see him sit down and talk to Bella when something is on his mind, he tends to be a drama queen and do shit like this.  Really it is like the youth of today with technology.  A simple converstation is not so over rated, but everyone seems to think it is. 

He could of pulled her up when she said what she did, it is like getting blood out of stone with him.  Nothing can be simple, some times simple is just as effective, less people would get frustrated with him, and I am sure that Bella would as well.  I now you will have some profound wisdom for explaining this to me, and I cant wait, beause it always opens my eyes.  But really sometimes life is complacated enough that you dont have to resort to lengths like this, when he could of opend his mouths and explained what a cum slut was to her when they were driving back from their holiday and I am sure it would have had the same affect.
