hehehehe rose is awesome....eclipse is out!!!!yay!!!!! My only complaint is Rob made me choke on my drink while watching the comentary... the special DVD at target....$27.....having to buy 10 arnold palmers beacuse you only have a 20 and need to call the local pizza place to deliver them $14 with tip.....choking on your drink when Robert Pattinson mentions that he is drinking an arnold palmer in the comentary....priceless....yeah the spotter driver at work is not letting me live that one down for a while.

We didn't have cell phones then...I remember waiting by my Mom and Dad's phone many a night for that much anticipated call.

a lot of this stuff will be fun when i write it from Edward's pov...like beating up the guys at the bar....maybe not the part where he walks in on em and rose...but...lol.
I'd heard that song playing off and on for months...in the background when i would be at someone's house ...or one of my daughter's would play it...had no idea who even sang it...obviously i don't listen to much country, although i think it's considered a crossover. I like it too....thought it fit in well with the mood of that part of the chapter.

I'm Catholic too. Are you putting all this stuff in about Father Pat for dramatic effect because the power he's given just doesn't jive with my experience. I didn't attend a catholic church for years and I just walked back in and took up where I left off.

if the priest is doing his job, he will instruct someone that's been away...starting with confession. It really is pretty much a 'go to confession' then start receiving the other sacraments, but in Emmett's case, he's asking not only to return, but to be married in the church....they're a little more thorough ( at least my parrish priest is ) they're not tyrants about it though. poor emmett needs a LOT of guidance...i still stand by what i said before...NEVER want to get stuck behind him in the confession line. be that as it may, it's a work of fiction..and meant to be enjoyed more than be 100pct accurate for every situation...I NEEEDED Emmett to go through some crap.. I almost stopped reading this chapter after the first couple of paragraphs. I was laughing so hard that my stitches from an emergency surgery began to protest. They are being removed today and I'm pretty certain that the doctor would like the honor. I was able to get myself under control....barely.
Poor Emmett - you know there's a YouTube video about "Blue Balls". I haven't watched the whole thing but the first part of it was pretty funny. It does say it's educational, maybe E should take a gander at it. I have to tell you my first thoughts for Emmett and a song was Weird Al's Amish Paradise - then King of Pain by the Police, Butch Walker's Weight of Her and Brandon Flower's Crossfire. Hell, I think he is going to need a whole playlist because I know that I haven't even thought of the whole children's selection and Sunday school songs as well.
