Sorry to see Charlie gone, I loved that family (minus Jane, maybe). Couldn't you have killed off her instead? I love Charlie too and he is the one who had to be the goner because he was building a relationship with Bella. They were becoming close, and that's why she is upsesst over it. She has become close to Charlie and Renee because of the baby. Jane just wouldn't of had the same effect.

I was sad to make Charlie die, but it was him for a reason. There wasn't any other character who would of had the same effect on Bella. I also wanted her to get close to Renee since she doesn't have a good relationship with her mother. Edward and Bella will see each other in the next chapter for the first time since her pregancy started showing.

I am sad that Charlie died, but I am glad she's going to support Renee. I think it will be good to put the pregnancy in front of him now that she's showing and the baby is more tangible. I say that she should have stress issues while she is there so that the ER staff has to conduct a scan. Foolward needs to see that life is precarious at all times and is precious. He should be learning that now with Charlie's death on his own, but this "boy" is stubborn and foolish!!!

I was really sad to write Charlie dying, however it made sense that he was the one who died. I decided that I didn't want to kill off Renee because I wanted Bella to grow close to her. Since she doens't have a relationship with her own mother, I wanted she and Renee to have a bond. I tried to make Renee the polar opposite of everything Esme is. Edward and Bella will see each other soon (in the next chapter which I am working on as we speak!).

Renee and Charlie chose to be part of their grandchild's life, even when their son chose not to take responsiblity with his own child. Their relationship was begining to form because of that and they three of them just got a long well. Also, Charlie was very kind to her and they got along well and began to bond over the fishing trip when she first went to Washington. She felt he was a good man and she wanted to say goodbye to him. Plus she absolutly loves Renee adn wanted to help her. If that meant she travels three thousand miles to make frozen meals for her, then that was what she was going to.
Bella and Edward will see each other soon (as in the next chapter that I am currently working on).

Yeah, she should definitely go. She needs to show Edward that her life is going on- she's not sitting around pining for him. She's keeping herself healthy and not sitting around waiting for him. Maybe the loss of his father will jar him into reality, but even if he falls on his knees at the funeral and begs her to marry him, she should tell him that if he still feels that way after the baby is born, they can talk about it, but during this emotional upheaval she won't even consider him serious. He needs a therapist, really.

Well, Esme certainly surpassed my expectations on being awful. I'd be wondering at this point if any of my cousins were my half siblings on my mother's side! Yikes, she brings insensitive to a whole new level and I personally think Jake should get on aplane and rip Edward a new one. Bella is so much like Carlisle. We dislike when people remind us of poor qualities in ourselves and I truly believe this would be why Esme hates Edward so much; they are just alike. Carlisle still loves Esme for some well-hidden reason so I suppose this bodes well for Bella still loving Edward even though he may be more selfish than her mother!

I think Edward is extremely immature. He handles pretty much all of it badly. Leaving her at the wedding like that was a him holding up a sign saying "Immature Asshole". He's only focused on himself and his feelings. He doesn't know where this leaves them? Huh, it leaves him across the country from the woman he supposedly loves while he sulks. I get the idea that Jake may step up and be there for her. It would be a hard lesson if she moved on with someone who was there for her when she needed support the most. I think I would have had a bonfire with New Moon had that happened in there but here, I would like to see him learn not to be a spoiled brat by losing what he wants!

I wanted to let you know that this part of the story was planned way back when, but I can promise you one thing (without giving much away) Edward isn't just going to wake up, jump up and down and get excited about the baby. I am so sorry for Edward that is just so sad i am really disappointed in his sister how can she claim to love him but is still friends with that little bitch. But i believe that his parents is right he should move on and get over it shit happens. But so is he if he dont want to know body can force him I dont want him to resent Bella and his children later in life if he does something he does not want. But that doesnt mean that Bella should give up her dreams to that would not be fair to her. Sadly i agree with Rose if that is something that Edward does not want she should find someone who wants the samethings as her and so should he. I know that they love each other very much but u need more then love in a relationship. And if they want to keep there dreams then they should break up now so that they can try to hurt each other less. Time heals all wounds and if they want them to start healing then they should break up now to save themselves later.

I dont' want to give too much way, but there will be no Jacob romance. I like Jacob as a character and I don't like how in many stories he is the rebound guy or the bad guy. He is just going to work through his feelings for Bella and become a good friend to her. So rest assured that evne though it may look like E and Be are breaking up, Jacob is not going to be the rebound guy.

Phew....I am surprised. Edward came from a loving home which is usually an indicator that he would want those things as well. Frankly, the reasonable thing to do would to break up if their priorities stay that way. I think there is a time in your life in which you just can't wait anymore and trust that *things will somehow sort themselves out*. You have to decide what is more important - the love or the kids, the house, the white picket fence. I see that he doesn't want to hold her back, which is good - so the decision is up to her. I don't believe either one can/will magically change their mind - but honestly, that would really be a downer for my mood if she ended up with Jacob in this! I also don't really want it to become a story where she gets pregnant by accident und suddenly he's all over the moon about it...Hmm...that said - it's still a great story and I trust you for now ;)

I can not say how greatful that you caught my mistakes! I had orginally written this story with non Twilight references and the names of the orginal characters were Natalie (Bella) and Alex (Edward). I thought I had fixed all of the name, but evidently not! Thank you again so much for telling me and making me aware of the mistake. I am in the porcess of fixing them now. Anyway, now that is cleared up I hope you continue to read the story and enjoy it!

Esme is such a disappointing mom so it is nice to see how warm and loving Edward's parents are...and love the twist from canon regarding the parents. The ending makes me nervous about his sister, so I can't wait to read what happens next.

Loved this chapter! I think it'd be so funny if Jane is rude and Bella takes Renee's advice. I can just see her getting up without a word and leaving the room. Which is then followed by Renee laughing so hard she cries and then following after her. Can't wait to read more!

She really like dJacob back in the day, but he's getting married and in a way still unreachable. Edward, she feels is out of her league due to his celebity status.
